Today a file in a shared drive went missing. Randomly. I was able to have IT retrieve it, but still.
And this is why I needed the beer cart this week.
Never heard of that chain.Hi all! I am having a fast food date with my dd at BubbakoosView attachment 453964
Yeah...for some reason we have a drive that everyone can access in the company...thankfully IT backs it up daily so we can retrieve stuff.Shared files definitely have a down side. Sometimes, if it was a small file, I used to make a "ghost" file copy in my own drive -- just in case some fool made a huge error or accidentally deleted the file, from the shared drive. Not a fan of group projects in a shared file, unless you work with very competent people. So it just depended upon the project, and who else was involved.![]()
Well, he is right on "kind of jesus".In T’s never ending assigned reports, he got a new one today... someone who influenced the world and inspired him in some way.
He chose Michael Jackson.
He just spent 5 minutes thinking of titles, and ideas... then he said - “You’re not allowed to worship a celebrity, so I hope my teacher doesn’t think I’ll sound that way. Michael Jackson isn’t Jesus, but he was kind of like Jesus. “
“T, he did a lot, but no, he can’t be compared to Jesus.”
“I know, mom. I just think he‘s a person who did a lot of stuff that Jesus wants us to do. I’m not worshiping him, just want people to know how much good he did, and how I think it’s pretty cool. Plus, his music is awesome. He changed the world, right?”
I thought this was such a strange thing for T to say, for multiple reasons... especially since he has no idea that MJ was always accused of having a “Messiah complex” while alive (probably did imho).
Anyway, this report should be interesting, and I’m glad my kid knows the difference between ‘worship’ and ‘respect/influenced by’.
Most kids will probably have Ghandi or MLK or mother Teresa, my kid’s report will be Michael Jackson.lol. I’m sure other people will have sports figures or something too though. I guess I can only blame myself for teaching him so much about Michael Jackson over the past couple years. Oh well.
who deleted the file? (Today a file in a shared drive went missing. Randomly. I was able to have IT retrieve it, but still.

Well, he is right on "kind of jesus".
He made people faint, some believed him over anything else.
That is technically some sort of worship.
Then the knowledge and sphere of influence he had.
There were more people who knew Michael Jackson AND Pele than Jesus for example..
It's a drive everyone in the company has access to. It literally could have been anyone.who deleted the file? ())
