I find that the problem with L L Bean is that even with a 20% reduction it is still 50% higher then stuff can be purchased elsewhere. Don't shoot me, it's just the frugal way I think.
I recently went shopping with my daughter at Old Navy. They a had a pair of jeans at a "regular price" that was deliberately 50% too high....then they marked it as a sale and gave the customer 50% off.

I am guessing most stores over-inflate the cost of their merchandise and make you think you are getting a great deal when they do place them on sale. I never buy anything unless it is on sale, but it has to be at least 50% off. Most of what I buy now is from outlets. We went to the Billabong outlet on International Drive on Friday. They have a store at City Walk that sold Billabong stuff. They had some beautiful Florida sweatshirts and tops. A sweatshirt was $45 and long sleeve tees were $22-$28. A bit too much especially if I am buying for growing kids. At the outlet they actually had the same tops and sweatshirts, but the sweatshirts were buy one get one free and the tees were 3 for $40. So I ended up getting 4 sweatshirts for kids and 3 long sleeve tees for ds. Unfortunately there is sales tax on clothing in Florida, but I spent under $130 on those 7 items, so that was fine by me.

Yeah! I love finding money in places I forgot about. I used to put $20 in my winter coats when I put them away in the spring so I could "rediscover it" the next winter.
My best find actually was before our trip this past May. I put on a pair of capris I hadn’t worn in a year and found $300!!! I felt like I had won the lottery. I had no recollection of when that money had been put there. It did get spent that trip though.

do they mail them? You probably have to have a membership right? Joined with their $10 membership for online, and I only see like 5% off...
I got an email this morning from them. Clicked through it to go to the website. I then had to login in order to see the price. I do think that Disney is like 5% off. Usually they have it for 3% off. Target always offers for 5% off.
