I am surprised.... the same person who Survivor Vanuatu as the first time I watched it! You'd think they would want to vote him out early this time around, but I guess not.

There are some nature trails I walk every week. There are various species in the woods, and most of them I can't identify. Sometimes, there are bird watchers on the trails. Yesterday, a woman showed me a large bird perched on a tree stump. Said it was a heron, and she told me some facts about them. (Bird watchers store a slew of bird facts that they can talk about, at a moment's notice.) ;)

Not to be outdone, I told her I also saw a very nice bird down the trail. "What kind of bird was it?" she asked. Uh oh . . . I wasn't sure. So I said, "red." :D (Quickly caught myself, and told her it might have been a cardinal. I had no groovy bird facts to share, though . . . :facepalm: )

When life quiets down and we're home for a few days, we definitely should get together eagling!
