Capa Vs. California Grill

I don't agree that its like Cheesecake Factory at all. Maybe like a slightly lower quality Ruth's Chris, with not as many steaks on the menu
Isn't Ruth's Chris the place that serves your steak in a pool of melted butter? If so, then that's the place that is like Cheesecake Factory. Hated that place.

Had plenty of Ruth's steaks and it was never in a pool of butter
Maybe it was just our location, but they made a big deal out of how they serve steaks on a plate of sizzling butter - didn't appeal to me but my husband got one and it was not very good. This was years ago, so maybe they discontinued that gross practice.

For sure. They are franchised owned, so definitely possible. The one in Boston is very good and I've had good meals at the one in Orlando.

All of Ruths Chris steaks are served in a plate with some sizzling butter. That is "their thing" (gimmick). I've never seen it in a "pool of melted butter" though. But I get your point. If you don't like butter, you may not like the way they do it

California grille was awesome 10 to 15years ago. Now the menu has no flow, flatbreads, sushi, steaks... pick a genre.... the only notable thing there is the wine selection and the view for the mk fireworks. Capa has an amazing view of everything, not hard to get into, food is great, drinks are great. Similar prices as California grille but a far superior restaurant and bar. Plus they have a reasonably priced seafood tower and great cheese and charcuterie if you wanted a snack and a drink.
