Rumor D23 Expo 2019 expected announcements

A stitch dark ride i would find more appropriate in Adventureland especially since that side of the park hasn’t had a legitimate new addition since Splash Mountain in 1992.

Moana would actually work really well considering the theme of Adventureland, and I normally say no to new IP attractions.

Stick Zootopia in the Canada pavilion and call it a day.

On a serious note a rapids ride with a larger drop of 40+ feet would fit the pavillion well + add some thrill to epcot

I'd love it if they did a Stitch dark ride in Tomorrowland. There's no good slow moving dark rides in this section.

How much room is there in that area to have a dark ride attraction?

The Gardens are pretty extensive. But I love the gardens and would really hate to see them disappear. They’re a haven of tranquility.

There are two options IIRC. One expansion pad is over by Splash, squeezed in to an awkward shaped bit of land. The other is larger and more behind POTC.

What we need is either:

@MisterPenguin to find the appropriate map showing the two expansion pads (because he always seems to know exactly where to look),

Or

@marni1971 to once again post the afore-mentioned map for you to see.

Idk how many times I have to say this but I think WDW needs a few more flume rides. Maybe a water coaster. Honestly I'd love to see one in Epcot WS, DAK Africa, or in a new DHS Indy land.

There were two actual expansion pads; between the Skyway and the CoP, and in the parking lot behind TLF (the proposed location of a Tron coaster many years ago)

According to @marni1971, green are the easy pads and yellow and orange require more work to use. The yellow pad south of Space Mountains seems to be off the table since they expanded the retention pond added retention walls.

Red and purple are armchair speculation. Red is a little bit easier and purple much harder, since it would require big changes in water management and maybe demolishing It's a Small World (we can only hope!). Access to orange, red, and purple is very difficult since the placement of HM, RoA, BTMR, and the train leave almost no access to that back area. One of them has to drastically be moved/altered.

Red / orange are proposed long term areas suitable for expansion.

Thematically it might be better where Swiss Family Treehouse currently resides. They just have to make sure no ones in it when they knock it down. Thankfully though no one usually is unless they're a first time visitor.
