In truth, it's all done very poorly. If the intention was to celebrate the return of the float itself, than their merchandise group has no clue.

I get the impression that they're taking an opportunity to push existing merchandise, I don't think any of this was created specifically for the return of Maleficent's float.

That said, those socks are indeed wack. Her expression is

Really glad they brought this back to life.
Given some of what is going on at WDW as of late, I feared that they would have a "Well, that's the end of that" attitude - save some money and lay it to rest.

She looks great. I'm looking for any differences between the original version and the update. Don't see any, maybe her snout is a little narrower? Hard to tell comparing images take from different angles.

It is hard to tell - I just saw a video from a side angle, and I think her neck is shorter? Could just be because I haven't seen the effect in a while.

She's been refurbed from the same molds that she was made with in the first place. She should look exactly the same.
