Paint the Night or...

It was discussed in the Disneyland side of the forums that Paint the Night should go to WDW. I don't think that is a good idea. Disney has so much money and doesn't need to reuse every single item from the parade. Vote above and write your thoughts!

I voted for something new, but I will say that I'd prefer that WDW have Paint the Night versus nothing. I've yet to see it in California, so that's part of the reason. I'd even be thrilled to see the Main Street Electrical Parade back instead of no parade. It feels weird not to have one.

If I got to choose, I'd bring back SpectroMagic. Refresh the original soundtrack and make all new floats and show elements inspired by the original. I think it's a natural fit for the 50th Anniversary.

I really like PTN but MK deserves it's own unique parade that it can be proud of and that can hold it's own when compared to the parades at the other resorts. Sign me up for Spectro 2.0.

Never seen Paint the Night and haven't watched it/listened to the soundtrack on Youtube (I feel so strong!) in hopes that I will one day be able to see it with my own eyes whether here or there.

But SpectroMagic will always have my heart. That would be the most exciting for me!

I'd give WDW it's own Paint the Night stlye parade using Spectromagic as the underlying theme instead of the MSEP. That's what I like about PtN us the MSEP music.

I prefer a Dreamlights style parade for Spectromagic than PTN.

Agree 100% about Specto being rebuilt. Unfortunately I feel like whether it’s used or a new version of it, WDW has their mind set on PTN or that style of parade... whenever they decide to fund it which isn’t sounding to promising.

Except PTN uses only a small fraction of MSEP's music compared to the Dreamlights where the soundtrack is updated with newer instruments compared to the original Electronic soundtrack.

Agreed... of all the night parades it was the best. Paint the night is probably my least favorite, even the tired old Electric parade is more enjoyable than Paint the Night.
