Breakfast at DHS at 7am?

Hey there hi there ho there,
So when originally making DHS plans I booked a H&V breakfast at 8ish in the hopes of eating fast and being amongst the first in line for SDD at "rope drop."
Then they switched hours to open at 8 with EMH at 7. Family and I decided to give it a go.
Trouble is nothing in the resort will be open for breakfast by the time we leave. Staying in Kidani, Mara doesn't open til 7.
We will be driving. I know a McDonald's is kind of along the way. But what about in DHS. Do they let people in early to peruseshops and maybe grab a bite? Anyone know?
Thanks in advance.

Maybe pack a box of cereal and grab a milk the night before at the resort? Or bring oatmeal packets to eat with hot water from the coffee maker? Then make a later breakfast ADR for 9/10 after you get in a few rope drop rides?

Like another poster said, a lot of people buy cereal and milk at the food court the night before and have it in their room for the next morning. We usually get a quick service breakfast in the parks when they open. I think the quick service locations in HS that offer breakfast options are Fairfax Fare and Woody's Lunch Box. We're usually rushing so much in the morning getting ready and trying to make the bus that having a slightly later quick service breakfast in the parks works for us so we can get some of the main rides in during EMH.

Thanks all, I should probably be more specific and write that the biggest hurdle isn't necessarily food so much as coffee. I'm not a coffee drinker but my wife does and really needs it in the morning. Were it necessary I'd be fine getting bagels or pastries the day before and keeping them as fresh as possible for the next morning. But it looks like no place in Kidani or Jambo will have coffee available. My wife is reluctant to use a coffee maker in any hotel room.

We did make reservations for 10am at Hollywood and Vine. We might get a nosh at Woody's Lunch Box - thinking a breakfast bowl and 'smores sandwich we can split amongst the 4 of us. But coffee, getting my wife coffee...that is my current white whale.

Which is why I'm thinking hitting that McDonald's along the way.

I was just in this situation with my BIL, the coffee addict. Except for one very (very!) early start to a park day, he was able to get coffee at Starbucks or at a nearby kiosk. My SIL did use the Keurig in our room for her hot tea. She just ran water through first after cleaning the cup in the room. I thought coffee was available at the quick service drink locations though. I don't drink coffee but I remember being able to get hot chocolate one trip.

Coffee is available but from what I'm reading the quick service locations don't open until 7. I didn't think drink stations were always "on," but I could be wrong. But it might be a moot point for us as Kidani uses the Mara as its quick service location. It's not exactly a quick dash and back with the mug. Probably faster to hit Mc'D's. There's a drink station at Kidani in the little store but again, it's supposedly not open until 7.
