Wow..speaking of cruises.. this was on my homepage!!

I wonder what happens with the other ships now.. we docked in Roatan.. the MSC ship who was also there that day was tendering. How annoying all the way around! I wonder if everyone will have to tender until repaired.

I loved the old Mickey Mouse Club too!!! I always wish they would bring another human version back.. maybe someday...right, Disney?




Nice! Someday I’m going to buy a crock pot. I always see great recipes for them.

I was once a crock pot hold out. So glad I finally bought one. I always say the dog is cooking dinner when we walk into the house to a yummy dinner cooking. Her chili is spot on!

Oh my. Dh and I were on the Port Miami webcam a couole of days ago and there was a huge MSC ship docked. Don’t remember the name. I wonder if that was it.

It’s crazy how fast it was going!!! I wonder why?? The captain had to know that he was going too fast!

Those are great if you can split the cost with another family.

The price is by person so I dont think you can "split" the cost .

Dh is buying The Greatest Showman. He and oldest saw it in the theaters. They raved about it. Probably will watch it tonight.

It is a good musical with good message.

I’ve never checked the Royal Suite prices on RCI.. I have checked a Haven Aft Penthouse (only sleep 2-3) on NCL Bliss for Alaska, but it’s wayyy out of my price range.

If price is the problem, I think the Cabanas in the new Carnival Vista cruise ship would suit you more.

There are some in the second floor which dont share walking paths. They have private pool area in the back of the ship.

I cancelled our Alaska cruise leaving on 6/24.. switched to an Eatern Carib.. which is now rerouted to a western.. so cancelled that as well.lol.

Please post pics!! I have booked and cancelled Alaska 2x now in the past 2 years.. kiddo really wants to go, I want to wait until he is old enough to do the whale diving excursion.. Please tell me all about your trip!!

It will be June 29th. 7 nights. We are on the 9th deck even though we have an inner storeroom. I booked 12 months in advance and carefully selected the good location. Dinner is ready...gotta go

The insurance of the company will probably fix the issue pretty quickly.

Similar accidents have happened. Like Carnival cruise ship colliding with a Royal Caribbean (pretty hefty damage on the carnival ship) when trying to leave Cozumel on high winds.
Or the Disney Dream (or was it fantasy?) hitting the dock pretty hard a few months ago in the Bahamas if I remember correctly.

I only buy books if I need one for a trip or my Disney related books. Although my library system has a decent amount of Disney books too.

Another book lover here! Happy to say my newest purchase arrived. The Unofficial Haunted Mansion. DD is already angling to read it.

The anchor seemed down.. so maybe they lost control of the propulsion system? Because it also wasn't trying to turn away...
The bow thrusters didn't seem to be turning or moving.

But still, that is VERY FAST.
You can't turn a behemot ship of that size or stop them that quick..

So whoever was driving that thing needs to be punched.. hard
