I think “free dining” is a complete waste for 2 people.. especially when you would only get the QS plan at AoA.
On our 2015 trip they were offering Free Dining- I did the math, the room only discount came up much better, by A LOT... even AFTER paying for the DDP myself.

Especially with the kid being only three. Sometimes she clears her plate and half of mine, but she more consistently picks a few items, eats them all, and leaves the rest for the trash.

We would have had to upgrade though because we have CRT and Bon Voyage booked. Oh, and Kona breakfast for Loco Mocco and a mimosa flight, LOL. I'm not missing that.

Glad y'all are feelin' better, and you're all caught up on the grading...!!! :)

Woof!!!
How could I have forgotten Schlotzsky's...!?!?!?
Maybe 'cause I was thinkin' only subs at the time...? :cyclops:
Also, Schlotzsky's is another Austin original...! :inlove:

As far as that locco mocco pic goes...
Yum-O-Rama...!!!!!!! :hungry:

Thanks, I didn't know that Schlotzsky's was from Austin. For some reason I thought it was a chain from out east. And I know I started it but with this locco mocco talk, I want one. That might be our dinner tomorrow. :hungry:

I tried to get my sis and bro in law to cancel their DDP. I told her to save her receipts, although I doubt she will.. because imo, they’re wasting a ton of money. The kids are 3&4..both with winter birthdays.. and they do not eat a lot at all right now. They leave next week. I still don’t think that my sister has been on the website to look at the attractions in the parks.lol

Me and T love the lounges, so I realized quickly that with the DDP I was spending a lot of money when eating at non-dining plan restaurants on top of it. Ended up with way too many credits on our last day.

I'm really hoping it doesn't rain so we can do Tiki Terrace. I do remember it from your report and it looked really relaxing and tropical.

It is. Also Mizner’s and Territory Lounge, 2016 was the first time I had been to Territory Lounge though, really glad we did! Mizner’s has always been a favorite of mine, unfortunately last time it was turned into a quick service because of work on Gasparilla’s. They did have a Champagne Lounge in the interim, where the tea party usually is.. we were the only people there when we went!! It was so weird.lol

Yes, the first store was opened here in '71.
Although, it's headquarters is now actually in Atlanta, GA.
There are about 350 locations worldwide, according to wiki (not Wookiee! ;)).

I made my mom an authorized user of one of my credit cards. I wasn't worried about her spending money on it without telling me, and now I'm really not worried about it. I asked her to go to the pharmacy and pick up prescriptions for me and charge it to the card. Her response: "What card?" She completely forgot about it and never activated it. Heck, she forgot that I had gotten the card. So I had her locate the card and activate it. Well, at least I can trust her...😂

I never even heard of Schlotzsky's until I was in the process of making the move here. A girlfriend absolutely loved Schlotzsky's so we went. I was completely unimpressed, but, it might have been because the bread was dry and seemed stale. That might have been the place where we got it, but, she seemed unaffected by it so I just assumed that they were the hard roll type of place. I like soft moist breads. I never went back and within a year from my moving here it was out of business anyway. There is another one fairly close, but, I really have no incentive to go there.

Note: She lived and worked for about 5 years in Houston so that is probably were the addiction came from.

Interesting.
I've never had dry bread (always moist with a nice crust on the outside) or a bad sandwich from Schlotzsky's, and we've been eatin' there since we moved back here in '76.
I'm goin' with bad ownership or management (or both)
on that one.

Just have to add something about cars, and autonomous cars.. this one is AWESOME!! I was a never a GM fan until the past 2 years.. I don’t own this car, just driving it for 2 days.. more accurately- sitting while it’s driving itself.

So cool!!
