I’m jealous! The boys are playing FIFA18 right now..niece is coloring, I’m on my 3rd cup of coffee.
But first, I had to pledge my allegiance to either T’s team, or L’s team.. T knows darn well that him am I have different “favorite teams”.. tryin’ to convert me even in video games.;)
They’re so into this game, it’s hilarous. Now they’re asking me and niece to be the “cheering crowd”. Lol

Me<----get a real Chef to design a better menu and appealing foods and it will take some pressure off of Cosmic, Pecos and BOG. I actually like Diamond Horseshoe's venue, the food when open...well not so much.

This. The lines to get in to order at CHH, and Pecos Bill were about a block long. And the wifi wasn't working, so you couldn't really use mobile ordering. Even desperate, we wouldn't get on those lines. Went back to POP for lunch. Worst burger ever, in case you were wondering.

We tend to forget those things when we wax nostalgic about how cheap things were in the past. Pound for pound it was actually worse in my memory. As the admission prices increase, wages increased enough so subsequent years were easier then the originals to accomplish. The overused thought about how Disney has exceeded the cost of living index is true but not relevant. Other things managed to stay below our salary levels and we had more spendable income that could be used for frills. WDW remained something that we wanted to do, but, never was something that we had to do. It was a luxury and easily scratched off the "to do list" if other things more necessary got in the way.

What would be great is if Disney decided to have a "back to '83 day" just for those that went in 1983. I could get on board with that. Imagine all the kids that went back then that could now bring their own children and even grandchildren for a day. I'm betting that the place would really be packed. Of course, it would be restricted to just MK and Epcot, but, I can live with that. (Excuse the little amount of selfish daydreaming there.)

I got lucky back in the day and got to stay in all the resorts on the loop and now I look and say SOG or off site:cry::mad::arghh: If it a no kids trip we may stay on property at UNI because we get a discount there

technically, its "climate change". Because while the general temps are higher, this causes compensation with more extreme tempts in other areas.

Speaking of global warming.. I read somewhere yesterday that one of the biggests ice caskets in the south pole has broken and is floating, which means it can separate any moment and cause a sea shift of up to 3 meters upwards.

Which is insane.. 3 meters would mean that cities like Alexandria and most of the Nile delta will be invaded with water.

Mexico's Yucatan peninsula would be partially covered as well. and I I suppose Louisiana and Florida too.

Remember when Disney used to be special and different? seems its like "We just want the money, as standard like every other hardcore business who exploits their workers".
