Okay, I just called to confirm and YES WE CAN STAY HERE for September!!!!! I didn't book it though, because I need to do a little research first.

From what I can see online, they recently added to their pool and now have a water slide and a splash area. Definitely enough fun for my daughter. Plus after a short walk we could monorail to MK, which she would love.

The no ME is a wrench I wasn't expecting, but you're my absolute favorite person today for making me look into this!
You can book with one night deposit refundable up to I think a few weeks out. Not certain of the exact timing

I prefer traveling to Disney/WDW/DL solo. Nobody to rush me through the airport. Traveling with other people, I have often wondered, "what's the hurry?" You rush, rush, rush, and then you will just have to wait, wait, wait when you get to the gate. It's nice not to have anyone tell me to hurry up when I am by myself. I guess in most things in my life, I am a loner.

Sympathy like for the weather!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on the shopping score but you're killing me. Now I'm wondering why I thought a full year no clothes shopping challenge would be a good idea:banghead:

I am frugal but I don't buy cheaply made items. The larger the discount the happier I am. I hunt for those bargains. The only item of clothing that I purchased that wasn't discounted greatly was my NorthFace Basic heavy weight fleece. I had a DicksSportingGoods rewards but still not what I normally look for in a sale. It is the standard black one that you see from coast to coast. I WANTED IT and I've gotten my money's worth out of it being made so well and so comfy.

Normally I Asics shoes, the good ones about $170. Being on my feet all day, my age I need the support and cush. I watch the outlet stores and I can usually find them for $89-$99. But I tend to live by day in these shoes. So I tend to shop to 'till I drop for things I need when sales are as good as they are right now at Macy's.

Question: Am I old enough to complain about how ridiculous teenagers are or I am still too close in age to them?
Complain away. On our trip at Christmas, DS and I were complaining about a group of teenagers, and he still is one. Of course, these were of the high school variety. But, he is an old soul, and I am not even sure he ever acted like a teenager.

I don't believe loner is the correct word to describe yourself. You are independent, self-confident and confident. Because of traits like that you are comfortable on your own to pursue travel on your own and in the manner and style you wish.
