I rode it marathon weekend. I was so disappointed... I'm sad that's my reaction now to it as I loved it when I first was scared to death by the Yeti swiping at me

We rode it a few times marathon weekend also. During the day it wasn't too noticeable as your eyes adjust from outside to inside. At night, however, ugh. Really miss the swipe then. Such a good ride too.

It really isn't. Every Disney message board on the internet will explode when it's finally announced that they are fixing it. Until that happens, just assume it's B mode business as usual.

I'm a little late on this but when did the "Disco" effect stop? Rode a few times last week, and the Yeti part of the ride is lit up in static show lighting, there's no illusion of movement anymore, no flashing, just a completely motionless (still amazing looking) piece of machinery.
About a year or so give or take. They have been working with different lighting effects with mixed results.
Disco Yeti was working when we rode over MLK weekend. So now Mode B is erratic?
