The flip-flops are fine - they aren't those horrendously big plastic thingys, lol. I have some...dark blue with purple insole...most comfortable flip-flops EVER. And great for the parks!

Nothing against normal flip flops.. the croc ones seem to be always pointed as fashion disasters.
Specially when they are used with socks and hawaian shirts.

I am always amazed at how many people where flip flops all day. I can barely make it down to the beach or pool with them. They offer no support and leave my feet without any protection.
I love Tevas or similar type shoes for hot weather.

Pratice makes perfection.
Also there are a ton of flipflops models. Some offer more protection than you imagine.
I had my ones modified for example (to give balance for my uneven legs and fix any problems of walking fatigue).

But in general, I agree with you. I'm a tennis person. Hate normal shoes and hardly use flipflops outside my home.

^^^^This. I have basic black, silver, black with patent leather, pink with white, 2 toned teal, beige and a few others in fact I buy the ones I like at least 2 at a time in the same color. (not kidding about the relation thing). I did a month in Orlando and that's all I wore.

That's why I got the crocs...they actually have some support and are made to sort of fit the natural shape of your foot.

OMG...I'm so picky about everything...when I find something I love, I do that! (Different colors though. Tops, pants, shoes, boots...you name it!)

I at least double up on Crocs when I can get them BOGO. From when the weather breaks until it's too cold that's all I wear unless I have to wear "proper" shoes

So far today so good Errands run, 2 types of soup are simmering and the boys cleaned their own bathroom. I may even have time to make some fried rice and watch another movie

I couldn't live without mine. It's probably around 60 years old at this point - I got it from a friend who is far older than I am, and it served me well while I was roughing it in the tee pee for those 6 months. I'd love to get a cast iron dutch oven.

Nope!!! I get funny looks from my son's bus driver because I'm wearing mine every morning (it's quicker than trying to put on sneakers while they're out there waiting...even if my tootsies do end up freezing for a few minutes).

My 4 hours of working turned into 10 hours of working but at least I have time to do a load of laundry tonight. Now I will watch a sappy Christmas movie while I wait for the drier to be finished. Note to self, DON'T fall asleep.
