Next time. We actually opted to eat in the enclosed porch this time as winter was coming and it was so pretty outside. The glass folding doors were closed to the outside 'cause it wasn't that warm and the windows to the interior seating were open. Even the floor and wall tiles were so pretty plus everything from the ceiling. Nothing will likely be that clean again-It was open less than a week when we went.

Thanks, Gabe! :)
The exterior and the dining porch aren't typical design of the locations we're familiar with, but, the nacho bar, hanging fish and hubcaps definitely are...!!! :)

Here's a shot of the original location exterior near downtown...! :)

I have been reading a lot about slow heartbeats. I know that I should not get ahead of myself but I am a "Googler" at heart. The internet is full of lots and lots of information. My primary doctor gave me a print out of the electrocardiogram that I had in her office. The term sinus bradycardia was on it. I will have an echocardiogram on Monday. I called Aetna today and they were helpful to me. I asked about the cost of an echocardiogram, and they were able to provide me with the answer to that. The Aetna representative even called the facility where I am having the test, and confirmed some facts for me. I was impressed. I have been reading about bradycardia, and it's relationship to hypothyroidism, which I have. I won't draw any conclusions, but it does have me thinking. I have been taking thyroid medicine for about 1/2 my married life, and about 1/3 of my 70 years. Interesting reading for sure. Lots of questions for my primary doctor, and cardiologist when I finally see them both after my test results come back. So far I have not had any side effects from any of my new medicine, but it has only been a few days. Anytime anyone gives me printed pages after an exam or a test, I am all over the internet googling. I won't self diagnose myself, but I will educate myself if I can.

Mine was great!

I got tickets to see the new Thor Movie on Saturday. So excited!

Tomorrow I will have lunch with my "random text" best friend so I'll tell you how it goes.

I bet it will be funny!

Cool about the great day! Hope today was great, as well! :)
Sorry, I'm always behind and "ketchuping" here...
Congrats on the Thor tickets, and hope your "random" ;) lunch went well...!!! :)

Well that is nice if patrons are correct in food handling anyhow.

On the porch the server brought us free chips and various salsa's and cheese to our table. They came with a metal shovel to refill the chips at the table.

Yes, as is true with any serve/help yourself food situation.
Everything from family gatherings, to the happy hour buffet at your local bar, to numbers upon numbers of giant all you can/care-to-eat serve yourself buffet (yes, I know you don't care for buffets ;)) places everywhere. It's just a simple, complimentary nacho bar. For those who may just be there for a drink and a snack, or like us, just having a little sustenance ;) while waiting for a table, etc. We love the idea! :hungry:
And yes, we also get the chips, salsas, and queso brought to us at our table by our server from the kitchen...!!!!! :joyfull: :D  ;) :)

Yeah. None of it hits my area so I'm just following it more from a state kinda view of jobs and tax revenue not that we have any control over all that. But some of these Cities are giving away the cookies but in reality the rewards do not cover the batter.

TIF isn't a bad incentive in very confined circumstances. Detroit is recovering well because of a well thought out plan for abandoned areas. Something better long term rather than nothing long term. Most of these proposals are giving away the farm, I'd only be happy if I was an Amazon stockholder. .

Agreed, on all counts.
