Anyone do the snorkeling tour at the seas? Were avid fish keepers both salt and fresh, and I think that might be something im willing to splurge on on the next trip. Anyone do it? is it worth it? Whats the normal pricing on it?

DW and I have done "Dive Quest " a couple of times in the past. You do need to be a certified diver for that but none the less the experience was incredible! I think I had more fun interacting with the guest on the other side of the glass than anything else. ( DW says I'm a ham) As I said we did it twice and I would definitely do it again. The CM's that handle it really do a great job. I'm not big on VIP tours or that sort of thing but going into the seas oh yeah!!!! Of course you will be forbidden at any attempts to interact with the marine life but I'm sure you would expect there would have to be a hands off policy.

were not dive certified, but the tour above the full dive experience at the seas, seems fun. We actually just booked our stay so were toying with adding this package on....

The wife and I took the tour years ago before we had children. You spend about half hour in the water. You'll be wearing a wetsuit, mask, fins, and breathing through a regulator. You can't dive below the surface because the tank and vest are very buoyant. We each received a picture, a beverage, and a t shirt. The backstage area was cool to see. They provide towels and soap/shampoo at the shower. It was fun to swim around and wave back at the people, walking around. We enjoyed it, and when the girls get older, we will take them.

Thank you! Since we have become pretty avid fish keepers, and really are taking a big leap into keeping a saltwater reef tank, it would be cool to see them that up close!

Aww, the stay on the surface rule is a sort of a deal breaker. I am not SCUBA certified, but we do like to snorkle, and we do dive when we snorkle.Teh fact it is SNUBA is nice, but they say right in the description - stay on the surface.

To that end I always smuggle in a few iron bars. Once sank to the bottom, I then sneak up to one of the sharks and attack it from below while belting out the main theme of Jaws.

The world's an oyster for the imaginative of mind.

It's a good tour for what it is.
