lol i don't think the gyroplanes will go that far

But, @donaldtoo is very resourceful. It was a long route, but he flew the gyroplane about 25 miles out over the ocean, and timed it so that he could land on a (consistently travelled route) cargo ship. From there, he cruised to the port in Guernsey.

Once in port, he asked the locals where the Ferret family was, and they directed him to your house. Best to give a heads up to Mrs. Ferret--there's a man sleeping out in the Summer House . . . ;)

Mr Ferret 75

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.

We are used to that. When we get home most days from work my parents are normally snoozing in there.

@donaldtoo , I told your silly joke about the dry skin/towels at work. Everyone laughed. Then last night, we went out to eat at our local restaurant (we're Friday night "regulars" there with some other couples, too). Told all of them the joke, and they all laughed out loud, too! Keep it simple, keep it silly, and people love it!! :joyfull:

Hahaaa...!
Love it...!!! :)
To partially quote Lord Polonius from Shakespeares's Hamlet "...brevity is the soul of wit..." ;)

But, that being said, sometimes a long, drawnout joke is worth the punchline. I've posted this one before. It's from an old (he passed a few years ago) local morning talk show host and musician, but, it still cracks me up every single time...!!!!! :hilarious:
