I am looking forward to Jamaica. Did you find any good places to eat! We have 16 days....we are going a day or two early. It's impossible to get to the space coast to be on time to board. You are right...about things to do, but if it rains all the time, people will be on top of each other.
We only get market's on the phone once. We bought a device off of QVC, and it gives us the ability to block calls we don't want. Just got it a month ago and I'm hooked. We get no rings, especially at meal times, or late night.

I spent two days packing, hubby wanted me to take half of what was packed......We took the car in...to have it serviced...that takes for ever. Tomorrow, we get our flu shots. Joy, I always feel bad after those shots. But, at our age we don't want to catch anything going on the boat. It looks like we will be going, I was hoping it was going to be called off. Looks like it's going to be a wet cruise. Imagine all those people on the boat, doing inside things. Boring...and sis and I don't get along well. I've got to sneak a couple drinks to make this cruise tolerable. I wish I could go back to the good days of having a relaxing drink. If it's raining the whole time, I plan to sleep in and order room service. Hey, that's not so bad!
Wish I could send it on to you. Maybe the boat will stop by your Island so I could bring it to you. Can you entertain and feed the people on the cruise...around 10,00 including the crew. You have at least a couple weeks until we make it out your way.Wooooo Hoooooo Snow

Color me curious. Where are you staying and do you have any plans to explore the area?
@Mr Ferret 88 if you have a car rental you can stop at any post office buy a box and packing tape and fill it with coffee to ship home. Both are most likely cheaper at Walmart. Does this count as my something nice?
That happened almost every year, taking our vacation...hubby always had things to do. I wish I had found cruising much earlier...I've done this. Odd how 2 weeks can translate until the end of the year in a matter of days It is like they knock you for a loop and then go in for the kill.
We are spending the day. We like to go out of the port areas and find good things to have for lunch. We did that in Cancun, and found this local area restaurant good food and the mariachi band sang to hubby and I. It was so nice.

Sister finds these things enjoyable. Me, not at all. Hubby and I went by ourselves and did the buffet thing. I liked it and the food much better. It's easier not to get into an argument with big sister. So we will go, then go back and change into comfortable clothes. We aren't allowed to be in public during those nights, crazy. I liked sitting out on the top deck while everyone was eating, so much more relaxing. Can't argue with sis, she can punch my lights out.
