Yes, indeed, the hand and foot thing has been happening, by me , all day...but, of course, she deserves it, and I will hand and foot for her anytime...!!!
The interesting part was getting her in the house...
We have some crutches that I adjusted for her, but, she was still so groggy she was having major issues. I went and got my wheeled office chair and, along with a few lifts, wheeled her into the house. We were both lol'ing, but, it worked...!!!
Plus, it helps that she's pretty much a rock of a person in all the right ways...she's been stir-crazy since the anesthetic finally wore off, and she's been crutching about..!

My eye surgery should be happening in a few weeks. First I need to get medical clearance from my primary care doctor. I wished that I knew that I needed that. I could have already done that, and the surgery could have happened sooner. Oh well, doctors don't like you telling them how to run their offices, or do their job.

in other news, leaving tomorrow. going out of town. Gonna have a big family gathering in a not so nearby town.

I saw a nighttime photo about an outdoor hot tub somewhere out West (maybe Colorado--a high end ski resort). There was snow on the ground, and people were in this hot tub in bathing suits. You could see the steam coming up from the hot water. They were all sipping champagne, and the sky above was clear with stars.

To me, that would be the ULTIMATE!!

Shortly after DWifey and I were married we went on a ski trip with another couple to Avon/Beaver Creek Colorado. The first night we were there, there was plenty of snow on the ground, and it was still snowing. We had some drinks in the condo before we decided to get in our swimsuits and head out to the big hot tub.
The thing was pretty fogged over with steam, but, we found some spots amongst it all. We sat down in the hot water and started to relax when I realized I forgot to bring the beer we had to enjoy while in the tub. I said "Oh carp, I forgot the darn beer!" Out of the steam, no joke, came an arm/hand with a beer in it...!!!
Just some stranger...it was awesome!
I ended up going back to our place to get our beer to share with them! It ended up being a hoot of a night, and we still ended up skiing our buns off the next morning...!!!

Yeah I understand the group was being watched until the UK. But hearing recounts of the loud-language and then pushing themselves to front of liquor lines, being verbally abusive to cast. Read one of the group attempted to take a swing at a sheriff and the sheriff just spun him around so fast that after that he complied with being brought to the Main Gate exit.

Bad enough when it is any john/jane doe's that are causing a ruckus but when it a group of famous Oy. Food and Wine does have its Drunk Fest stories.
