My DD loved all things puzzles too. She figured them out pretty quickly no matter how they were to be manipulated. My DS and I...well lets just say we don't care for such things, we look at them as not a challenge but an annoyance. But she is my master builder, assembler, techie and fixer of all things broken. Just how she is wired. Lego's were one of her favorite toys.

I still like Lego's. I was sad when the boy's donated them.

No, we had extremely minimal damage from Harvey here in Austin.
It's just typical traffic around here these days.
Yesterday morning it took me 55 mins. to make my 15 mile commute from our home to the office.
Sooo much fuuuuunnnnnnn!!!!!

Ah, the memories. I used to buy those sewing machines (pedal power with cabinet) for next to nothing at local auctions. Dust them off and take them to Boston to sell for hundreds of dollars a pop. They loved their antique machines in Bean Town. I still feel a little guilty about that. Oh, wait... It appears that I am indeed over it. Happy day! In Vermont every old house had one of those either still in use or sitting on the front porch.

Weren't expecting that reason were you. You were trying to throw age darts at me. However, my Mother didn't sew, so no machine. My grandmothers did though, but, I never saw they actually use them.

I was wondering if your former wife had such a machine because I remember you had mentioned she sewed back in the day and you weren't exactly flush with cash at the time

I'm glad for you. Enjoy as much nice weather as you can. It will get cold before too long. This is a fast moving storm. It will be in and out. I may not be on much, for the next two days. 40 to 50mph. winds are coming along with the snow. I'm thinking this may be a bad year for us. Although, that's just a feeling I get.
