Does anyone have an idea as to when they're going to announce the fall promotion dates? I feel as though they're normally announced by now.

They are already out but availability is REALLY tight. I don't think I have seen it this bad in a while. Good luck! Marie

I agree. I can't even book a room WITHOUT a discount at value resorts for the weeks I want in November. I will keep trying, but we may end up going elsewhere. I think we will pass on our AP's next year.

That will teach them!
Im sure it wasn't meant like that. If you cant go to a particular event why would you purchase tickets for that event? Annual Passes are a good deal, IF you can get to Disney to use them. If not, due to lack of available resort rooms or any other reason, such as other family obligations, school, work etc. , the purchase of the pass does become a question. Marie

It is definitely getting harder to book a last minute trip certain times of the year. I live too far away to do that so I am booked at least 6 months out. But it would be frustrating to want to take a last minute trip and not have any room availability. It is hard to imagine with the thousands of rooms that they have that they are all booked up. Maybe they will build another resort that is not DVC.

Keep checking. The same thing happened last year but rooms did open up closer to. I had to switch my dates for November that I had booked back in March.. Made the switch in September and while having to do a split stay because of availability, I ended up being happy with what I got.

Just call or use a travel agent and have them check different arrangements for the week. You will most likely find options available.

Not good news for us. All of our trips have to be scheduled less than 6 months in advance due to work. In the past we've been able to get something, but it's never been with a discount and then of course, the airfare is outrageous as we have to book that after we get dates at the resort.
