Vet fees are insane. Any time Jack gets taken to the vet, I don't think the bill has ever been less than $250. We've also paid a lot higher than that, depending upon what he's gone in for. I look at my own medical bills, and my highest copay is $100--but that's for emergency services only. Apparently, Jack's health is worth more than mine?! :p
$250? Geez. Usually, Belle's are around $100. I had the full senior workup done on her, for my own peace of mind more than anything. Mu tabby, Moxie, died of kidney failure, and a senior workup when he was Belle's age might have saved him. So Belle will have that done every few years.

Belle is also on prescription food for her IBS. It really helps her, but :greedy:. Oh, and Belle being lonely was the reason I got Jasmine.

There seems to be a pattern all leading back to Belle...

They're all worth it, though. Belle and Jasmine playing are quite entertaining. As well as when Jasmine misbehaves and Belle quite literally sits on her. :hilarious:

When you say surge protector, are you talking about a power strip with several outlets and a switch to turn it on and off? Because that's what I have it plugged into.
A flat strip? nope, those only protect against a lightning strike using a fuse system.
Surge protectors and UPS protect for +5% or above variations in the electrical grid.
Then above these, there are the UPS or Battery systems (Uninterruptible power supply systems) that protect from both down and ups.
You can get cheap 500VA or 1000VA models of UPS to protect most computer systems ( I have 2x 1500VA ones, since my systems are pretty hefty)

Even my dh rode Rip Rocket a couple of times, Hulk and both Dragon Challenge coasters and he's not the biggest coaster fan. They were all rather smooth. As for Fearfall it's drops felt like less than TOT. Next time try and ride them:joyfull:
Yeah, but lets say that they do not sit very well to my vertigo. High shifts makes me uneasy and can get me dizzy for weeks. I blame my implant for this.

Don't you mean "all medical treatments are insane" ?
The prices I've seen on the internet about US medical treatments and emergencies are insane. I would be in debt forever for a simple sprained angle if I had an accident in the US lol.

My daughter bought health insurance for her dog. Yup, how the world has changed. The fact that is available is probably why vet charges are so much higher then they used to be. And they wonder why I change the subject every time they start to say.. Dad, you should get a pet. They never get it all the way out before we are talking about golf (or at least I am)

It can be insane, but that's why insurance exists. And that's also insane. But better to pay $1000 to have a ligament in your thumb fixed than $10,000.

My company actually has a doctor on site for employees to use. Once I'm an employee in September, I'll be able to use it. Best part is it's free. Company provided.

I'm actually surprised insurance companies let Hospitals get away by increasing the prices up to 30 times fold.

There has been a lot of screenshots posted online on tumblr.
Where they show gauzes (that cost 1 dolar) being sold at 30 USD each one to the Insurance company.
or "Pharmacy Services" (aka 10 medicines that cost 1,000 USD in normal pharmacies), somehow costing 50,000 o_o
