With all the rain I'm getting nothing done and all the food is mysteriously going missing. So far the worst we've had has involved noise and lights flickering but

It was a Shimalan movie a few years ago, based on a book. It tanked I think.

Still, nothing to do with this movie I think. This movie is more SCIFI esque than Fantasy.

Didn't we recently go through this with a bicyclist. Seem he became an un-hero in a big hurry. I'm at the point that when a human starts to do Hercules type things... I get suspicious. I guess we need our hero's, but, seriously, as my father used to say about bicycles... "I don't see any reason to peddle like mad just to give my butt a ride".

Yup, same scenario here. Except we really do want Jasmine to attach herself to Belle.

This morning, Jasmine walked around meowing. I think she wanted Belle.

Then, my mom texted me today. Belle was hiding under the china cabinet, which is where she goes when she wants no one to find her or be able to come in there. But Jasmine found her...and joined her under there. Jasmine seemed to think it was a great game of hide and seek.

I'm really rooting for Jasmine here! She's trying so hard. I think Belle will eventually come around.

I was going to take Kapono for a walk tonight after dinner so she could have an escape from my sister's dogs (3 of them), the weather forecast looked nice and clear. I cleaned up the dinner dishes and looked out the window, it was raining. Now she and I are snuggled on the recliner and the other 3 aren't allowed to come up here.

@Cesar R M Ok, I figured it out. I was thinking of this book. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15783514-the-ocean-at-the-end-of-the-lane , which was apparently so scarring, that I hear fairy tale quality story, water, I think of this.

Now that I know it isn't this, I am kind of excited to see it.

@Gabe1 Hope things are better by you. I remember hearing about the whether when we were away and wondering how you were fairing. We had a massive downpour yesterday. Fastest winds I can ever remember seeing. One tree in our backyard, a tree we were wanting to cut down because it is actually 2 trees growing into one, got snapped in half. It isn't near the house and is the only tree in the far left of the yard. Amazingly enough, these 2 dead trees in the neighbors yard behind our house didn't budge. Go figure. Dh said that by his office there was 4 inches of rain from the storm. We have a little kiddie pool outside that was empty. It has 2 inches of water in it now. Luckily we live on the top of a hill so never worry about flooding unless it is from an internal pipe or water heater, which has happened.

We don't live on the top of a hill, but, we're at the high end of our street, so no flooding worries here either.

For science I read that if you drink black coffee every day for two weeks, you won't want coffee with creamer anymore. After this morning I'm even more of a disbeliever, but I've got a bet going with one of my friends who swears it's true.

It is probably because he doesn't have enough snow to play in on a regular basis. A responsible Jack owner would move somewhere snowy all year round

No, just morbid curiosity and stubborn headedness
