Cost Estimate For All These Projects?

Minus SWL and TSL, capex for WDW park projects announced on Saturday plus the gondola is over 1.9 billion.

With more to come.

I don't like some of the decisions but it's not an insignificant outlay.

A lot of money to be sure, plus what they're spending on SWL and TSL but... The WDC has a ton of cash and they need to invest. I'd say they can spend double that and be completely fine fianancially.

I would imagine that the WDC saving some budget for other parks besides WDW and will hopefully start investing in Disneyland Paris in the near future as well. That park has been equally forgotten about as much if not worse than WDW.

The spine redo gives me nightmares. Just thinking about how long it took them to redo the MK hub and how congested that was makes my head hurt. Obviously people don't really hang out in the spine in the numbers compared to Mainstreet dumping into the Hub but still not a fun place to be if it gets boarded up into plywood city.

Hopefully the gondola opens (more resorts using IG) before major spine construction.

Here's a question that I'm not sure has been asked yet, but with the addition of the gondolas will the international gateway be getting an overhaul? As of right now there is only 3 or 4 touch points for entry and 2 security checkins. Seeing as the gateway should be getting a lot of usage once the gondolas are completed, I'm assuming this will be addressed with some more entry points?

I would assume it's getting an update.

I would imagine that they will take an approach similar to the monorail security process today at MK. Guests at AoA/POP, CBR, Riviera will get screened before boarding their gondolas and guests unloading at DHS or Epcot's IG will be inside of the security perimeter.

If that's the case, perhaps they can just add a few extra touchpoints at the IG. I will miss how peaceful it is to enter Epcot from there.

This is Epcot we are talking about. In front, They seeming have dozens and dozens of touch points, but I feel like I hit the jackpot if as many as 10 are open.

They already have with a massive land purchase that anyone should know what it's for.

Also Nintendo :D

Details about Nintendo, a new Harry ride (the Forest thing?) and the third theme park (VB is a water park) is all I can think of that would come anywhere near close to what has been and what will be announced for Disney. Their best bet to counter everything is a third theme park by 2021 (they have four years ...) ... which is good news for theme park fans like us. One causes the other to continue stepping it up.

Exactly but I don't think the third park would open that soon.
