The good thing about taking one or more of the guys grocery shopping, I carry nothing and don't load or unload the car:joyfull: The bad thing is they tend to buy more than I had intended:banghead: Yesterday snow peas and bean sprouts wound up coming home with us:hungry: Seeing bean sprouts really don't keep well last night we had stir fry again:eek::banghead::brb::hungry: but:banghead:, I really wanted zoodles, oh well tonight I'm putting my foot down:D

I looked up snow peas for I never heard of snow peas and it showed snap peas and I'm like, I've heard of that.

Zoodles is another word completely foreign to me. It's like they were too lazy to say N.

At least you come home with healthy extras. You could be coming home with extra like ice cream bars or Doritos. (Might happen when hubs and I go grocery shopping.);)

Don't think I'd care much for zoodles. But I do like these (real noodles!!) --

I've never tried zoodles but I'm sure if Figgy makes them they probably taste good. However, your noodles with a nice stroganaff would be delicious!

Having your kids hate you from time to time just means that you are doing your job of parenting and saving the "friend" part until they have grown.
They're really going to hate me today, it's going to be wonderful out today and they can't meet me at the pool until their rooms are clean
Well, you do have to walk that thin line that doesn't end up with them killing you in your sleep. Sounds like you're still alright though.
You hardly ever sleep, so you got that going for you as well. :joyfull:

Dr. Figgy prescribes a margarita and a nap today:joyfull:
I'll take it. I thought I would be on tomorrow, but I miss everyone on here. Will try to do catch up. Hubby says he will put our pictures on later today. Sometimes, I wish we had bought a condo in the mountains. We didn't know at Disney we would live in Colorado. We are higher than Denver, but at 10,000 ft. it's much nicer with little nasty pollens.

My 2 year old choked on spaghetti noodles a couple times. I guess she didn't think they needed to be chewed so she was eating them whole like a snake, and after she'd swallow half a glob of noodles and the other half was still coming out of her mouth, she'd choke. Luckily spaghetti noodles are easy enough to cough back up, but we've started to cut her noodles into small pieces anyway. There are so many things they warn you about as a choking hazard, but it can definitely be the innocuous things you wouldn't have thought of that they actually choke on!
Give her ditalina or couscous, much smaller pasta, and can't choke her. So sorry for your 2 year old. There are so many things that can choke little darlings.

Okay, seriously, how stupid are people?

I emailed a supervisor today, as I do every other Friday, reminding him to approve the timesheets for his resources. He hadn't done them. He emailed me back that there's a mistake and he had already approved them all.

I went into our timekeeping software. He approved them two minutes before he sent that email.

So 1. How stupid is it to lie to me like that instead of just saying "Sorry, I've approved them now" and 2. How stupid does he think I am that I'm not going to pick up on that?

I hate people.
It's CYB, cover your butt. This happens all the time. Keep your job at other's expense. I wasn't fond of office politics. So sorry for you. I hope you document, document, and document. I spent time in a place like that, after a couple years, I just quit, I had enough of lies. I hope you can get this straightened out. If not, think about moving on, look while you are still employed.

My understanding is that a stroke is caused by a blood clot, an aneurysm is the ballooning of the vessel, and a hemorrhage is a leak. A hemorrhage mimics the symptoms of a stroke, but is not a stroke.
I have had blood clots, behind my eyes, and caused me to lose half of my vision. They passed very quickly. My strokes were a clot. I went off a margarita a day, and suffered a bad clot. Alcohol, in moderation (1/2 to 1 ounce a day will keep the blood flowing. I'm keeping to that regime for the rest of my life. Strokes are very scary, especially when you can't communicate.
