Worst Queue Experience

I would say the worst queue is the one to Stitch.... because of what's at the end of that queue

Seriously, as far as waiting for something that I want to see/do, my least favorite waiting area has to be for Philharmagic. Just unpleasant & crowded (speaking of the waiting area, not the neat 'ads' in the switchback area)...

From least to most favorite, here are my 3:

3) Least favorite - BLRS: the queue just feels dirty, like the air is musty
2) Tolerable - IASW: I enjoy seeing the clock animation and I like seeing all of the sparkly objects (I am a sucker for glitter)
1.5) Honorable Mention - HM: Favorite ride and the interactive queue is interesting

My number 1 queue is and probably always will be SM. I love the background music, the pictures, lighting, etc.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks the queue for BLRS feels dirty. I'm not sure why that is but I completely agree!

The regular part of the line. I also remember that in October of 2012, I was in line for Soarin' with my Dad and younger siblings. These immature idiots in front of us kept passing gas. I was not amused.

Seems like gas passing is quite the norm for the Soarin line...maybe because the queue is pretty much a straight line and the smell is following suit or people just got in the line after eating a big meal at the Garden Grill

People fart, and when you put lots of people into a queue for an hour or 4 hours it can end up smelling pretty bad. That's not the fault of the person.

This last trip, wouldn't say a worst queue experience for myself. However, while waiting in line for EE, the standby line was long and suddenly stopped moving for a good 20 mins or so. No one could figure out why until EMT people came through with a stretcher. Found out someone was passed out on the ground ahead of us in the line. Was told two stories by onlookers, either the person got bit and had an allergic reaction or passed out from being completely dehydrated. Felt so bad for the kid. I know that was probably their worse queue experience.

Without question, my most nightmarish queue experience was the wait to get into Journey Into Imagination during the summer of 1983. You'd never know it now, but the wait to get into that attraction snaked back and forth outside of the pavilion for what seemed like forever before you got into the building... and realized that it snaked back and forth through the entire inside of the lower level of the building as well. I don't remember how long we waited, but for an 11 year-old, it seemed like an eternity. The heat was unbearable and there was no water. No such thing as interactive queues back then. Once we got on the ride, though, it was all worth it. It's what I most clearly remember from that vacation. Well, that and the WorldKey kiosks. Man, those seemed like the pinnacle of man's achievements to a kid.

This makes me laugh because living in Buffalo, NY, even in the worst of storms no one gets like that. 2-3 feet of snow is nothing to us.

I'm from central Virginia and we've been trained to go to the store for milk, bread, eggs, and toilet paper at a slight chance of snow LOL. But seriously, it's because our weather can be so unpredictable. We've had 2 feet of snow when they were only calling for 2 inches And one time we had a blizzard no one took seriously and we had over 2 ft and VDOT didn't have any plows on any of the roads. Not even the interstate. Cars had gotten stuck trying to get home after work so when VDOT had an "oh crap this is real" moment they couldn't plow bc the roads were all blocked by stuck cars. They had to get wreckers to move them all before they could clear the main roads. By that point, all of that snow had compacted into a thick sheet of ice that lasted in places for over a month. Some people in the country weren't able to leave their property for over a week. Our roads and cars aren't really prepared for that type of snow, we would often lose power for days during snow events, and not many people have generators. A friend of mine that moved down from upstate NY was shocked at the difference a location can make

It has to be about 2-3 feet before you consider saying at home.

Only bad ride queue I've had experienced was last year at Kings Island. We go once a year and surprisingly DD8 measured tall enough to ride Vortex a looping coaster shes has begged to go on for 4 years. I decided let's celebrate and this 1 trip get the Fastpass bands to skip the line, and let her have fun. So we get on and ride with no wait. The second time around she wanted to ride in the back. So she get in our seats and hear a womab say "another f*** spoiled brat with a b mother skipping lines". If it wasn't for the restraints latched I would have come out of the seat and told her off. We spent years standing patiently in standby for lines, DD never cared cause she just jabbered with other kids. But for once say lets skip it and both my kid and myself get called names? Oh I'm sorry guest that season pass which means you visit how many times entitles you to be mad.
