The existing thread seems to be missing some of the updates I've seen as confirmed or very likely to happen. What am I missing or what things did I mentioned that aren't happening? I'm fine with this being deleted and the other thread being updated (it was used to build this thread).

That's what I thought/heard too. Maybe a quick refurb, but no change in attraction. And yes, there definitely has been some rumblings of a new attraction within the next 5 years. Hopefully.

A DVC agent told me the other day that it is highly rumored that Stitch could finally be leaving and that the Speedway might as well to make room for a Tron coaster. I say no way is the world will a Tron coaster come to the MK and replace the Speedway. She also said that it is thought that EPCOT might be getting a big update and 3 new attractions. I will believe it all when I see it. Maybe.

I saw in another thread that the Great Movie Ride is going to be closing. Then someone in this thread mentioned a "re-work". Anything official as to whether it is getting eliminated altogether or just getting a refurbishment?

It's closing to get a new ride, one based on Mickey Mouse.
