Which room at Be Our Guest

Any recommendations on which dining room to request when we show up for lunch at Be Our Guest (assuming we can wait for availability)?

It's a CS restaurant at lunch so you won't be formally seated by a server -- you can wander the rooms and pick the available table of your choice. (You'll have a rose-shaped buzzer/locator with you that the servers will use to track you down when delivering your order, which is a notable distinction from the typical CS set-up, although you'll still be fetching your own fountain drinks.) The ballroom is beautiful but rather loud and bright, almost cafeteria-like but for the beautiful theming -- we like the more intimate, spooky feel of the West Wing. The Rose Gallery was closed when we were there for lunch (the extra capacity was not needed as we were there during a low crowd time), but from pictures I've seen, I'd love to try it when we get the chance.

Rose Gallery is the quieter than the Ballroom. West Wing is very dark and doesn't have many tables ~ of the dozen or so times we have eaten lunch at BOG, we have never found a table in the West Wing.

I'm obsessed with the Ballroom...straight into the movie! I'd definitely vote for that!

The Rose Gallery is underrated as there are tons of lovely paintings to look at while you eat, and the music is soothing and relaxing.

The West Wing is something to try at least once but it's always so crowded and slightly annoying when people brush by your table and take flash pictures all the time. o_O

We've eaten in all 3. We prefer the West Wing - it is the coziest room (to us) but it is quite dark! While I think the ballroom is beautiful, I can't stand eating in there - it's loud and crowded. The Rose Gallery is quieter than the Ballroom and it is very pretty! Wherever you sit I don't think you'll be disappointed but as others have said definitely take a walk around and explore all of the rooms :)

As mentioned prior by many each room has its own pros and cons. If this is you first visit to BOG I recommend walking around a bit, check out each room and select a seat that is available. It really is a personal decision. My family enjoys the Beasts West Wing but each room is unique and amazing!

I've only done the Ballroom and the Rose Gallery. My family was lucky enough to get a "window seat" by the "balcony" and that was awesome. Overall though, I'd think I prefer the Gallery. Large and roomy, and not quite as packed. Plus, lovely decor. The paintings are all fantastic, and the giant music box is a really neat original touch.

We've only been twice, both times we sat in the ballroom but had very different experiences. The first time, we sat right at the entrance near the main door. Nice but kind of loud and busy with folks coming in and out. The next time we were seated at the very back next to the snow window. TOTALLY different-quieter, more romantic, loved the window, and had a great view and perspective on the room.

West Wing if you must go there at least that way you won't have as clear a view of what you' re eating... I wish I could say you'll enjoy it, but honestly the food is some of the worst at Disney as they are just booking themselves up based on atmosphere much like Cinderella's Castle at breakfast time.

I would say skip for sure... Food sucks.

Umm, I must confess that I don't know what the 3 different rooms are called. When I was there, I walked through the big room, and then took a right into a room that had a big music box in the center. The super-dark room was to the left, across the big room from where I was. Here's a picture of the room I was in-

What room is it? I really liked it.

I would say that the breakfast was so-so, but still worth it to get in early and ride SDMT 3 or 4 times before the rope drop crowd. But I've had a terrific lunch every time, and the one time I had dinner there the steak was excellent.

Get a reservation. We tried to do a walk up Tuesday afternoon and there was nothing available. But, a CM let us in because we only a party of two.

But, answering your question, we like the West Wing because it's not as crowded.

Honestly, I find the food at BoG better than any of the MK CS locations, but you have to be adventurous and willing to try something other than hamburgers, chicken tenders or hot dogs. The Croque Monsieur is great, as is the French Onion Soup.
