Walt Disney: One Man's Dream closing for brief refurbishment in July

sxeensweet

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
They may be putting the One Man's Dream film back though. It was supposed to possibly come back intermittently on occasion as per what MDE currently states. ;)

It's just a slight change. The attractions name is changing to... "Robert Iger... One man's Dream Come True! All pictures or references to Walt Disney (whomever he might be) will be removed. The exhibit will contain all of Bob's life from when he sold Lemonade as a 5 year old for $3.00 a Dixie cup, through his years in college mostly in a alcoholic haze, to the present where we see film footage of him buying back Disney Stock to enhance his personal wealth. It will have many in tears! Get your Fastpass now and avoid the rush!

If this refurbishment news is true, it might be down those days because they are switching out some of the displays in the museum. Some of the models from California Adventure and Tokyo DisneySea might be switched out for new models for Avatar Land and Shanghai Disneyland. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to do another large display like the New Fantasyland display from 2012.

Update: It's true, according to information from the Cast Member Hub. The attraction will be down from the 16th to the 19th. Why it will be going down is still unknown. Also, when it comes back up, expect to see a sneak preview for Pete's Dragon playing in the Walt Disney Theater. There will be a sneak preview for The BFG starting on June 17 and running until July 15.

There have been different models put in there from time to time. Not too long ago there was a model for New Fantasyland. Maybe a model for Avatarland? I'm thinking SW Land is too early in the development stage to have a model for that.
