Just updated the original article to hopefully answer that.why are the extended hours only until july 2?
Thanks... I ask because we arrive on July 9 and was hoping to be able to make fast passes in a few weeksJust updated the original article to hopefully answer that.![]()
It seems like they are just rolling over the calendar changes now, so it might be a day or so still.Any idea when extended FP+ times will be released? I can still only make them until 8:00 for early June.
Thanks! I'll keep checking periodically. It seems like they are just rolling over the calendar changes now, so it might be a day or so still.
Even if people still treat DAK as a half-day park, they now have the option of taking the half day in the evening. Instead of people hopping from DAK, people can now hop to DAK. I think this is more about creating a pressure release valve for the other parks than it is about DAK specifically.Hours to 11:00 every night and then ending on July 2nd has the feel that they are just testing the waters to see what guests will do. Even with new night options, it is tough to believe that AK can be open later than MK and the other parks nearly every night.

I'm personally very disappointed that they'll only be open until 6:00 on my upcoming May 6 - 15 trip. Even without the new offerings, DAK is my favorite park and it would have been nice to just be there at nighttime.
I agree.I'm sure by the time fall & winter roll around and the evenings come early will probably see an Epcot-like time where it will close around 9pm..
I wonder what the streetmosphere will be like in Harambe and Anandapur? Will the musicians and storytellers still make appearances? Maybe even special tweaks to the shows? I'm also curious about Maharajah Jungle Trek, lighting by the apes, Rafiki's Planet Watch, etc.
