What happened to the Magic Kingdoms game?

They said it would come out sometime in 2015, but it never did. Is it still going to be released? It sounded like a really cool game and I, being a RCT3 fan, would have liked to play it.

I hope that it is eventually released; it sounds very fun. No info seems to have been released since its announcement, so I expect there were delays with its release. We were promised fall of 2015, but I wouldn't be surprised it we had to wait until this fall, either. As long as we get it, I'll be fine.

Isn't it a mobile game? strange as production wouldnt be as difficult if this is the case..

it also wont be very good if its on mobile.. the RCT game was pretty rubbish compared to RCT3

Downloaded it. Watched the opening. Saw the personal-info-gathering agreement required to play and the in-app purchase warning. Deleted it.

My co-worker just downloaded it and called me over to watch for a few minutes. She hates timer-based tap games (so do I), so she deleted it after a few minutes. I don't think this is the kind of "game" people were expecting.

It's a sad waste of potential. Disney is more than capable of producing a great park sim game, but this isn't it. This is Pluto Poop.

Again, this is a mobile game and nobody should of been expecting something on the level of a Rollercoaster Tycoon.
On that note, the ios port of RCT3 is amazing. The mobile version of Disney Infinity is pretty amazing. Original, from-scratch mobile games can be great, too; they don't have to be tap/timer data-mining lures. Disney, if they wanted to, could produce a fantastic park sim for mobile. Maybe someday they will.

The key word in that sentence is "port", meanwhile you have a game built "from scratch" in Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 which is similar to this one. If you're not going to touch it, why complain about it? Just wait for Rollercoaster Tycoon World to come out to get your park building fix.

I completely missed the buzz for this game, but just got it today! It looks like it could be dangerous for my productivity. ;)
I don't think you have to worry about your productivity. This is *not* a good game or a decent theme park sim. This is one of those "tap the screen, start the timers ticking, come back later to tap again" kind of games. Pretty graphics, *very* little actual gameplay.

RCT4 is garbage and not worth touching at all. Looking forward to World. As a Disney fan, it disappoints me when a company capable of creating terrific mobile experiences settles on releasing a cynical, shallow app that appears to exist mainly to sucker you into spending cash to speed up timers. They can do better. They have done better in the past. They'll do better in the future. Mobile games can be fantastic, as many other companies (and Disney themselves) have proven with better games than this. As fans and consumers, we should applaud wonderful creations and criticize (and not spend time or money in) sub-par shovelware. That's how things get better.
