It's been viewed as "bad taste" to have carnivores consuming amputated animal appendages while circling the captive wildlife.I have yet to have a turkey leg at any of the parks. I wonder if this is a result of the cuts we're seeing or more just a restructuring of the menus in the park.

It is the salty solution that they brine it in before smoking that makes it similar to cold cuts.My son had one in Dinoland last time we visited.
Gave it a caveman like vibe.
Why do they taste like cold cuts by the way?

Ostrich!A friend of mine is a former DHS outdoor foods CM who said that there are far more ingredients in a turkey leg than you would think and not one of them is turkey.
Ostrich!
That's surprising...We were actually always told it was emu meat. I assume that's false, but a lot of Cast Members believed it.

Restructuring to have things not feel similar between parks. Plus it costs more to produce Turkey Legs for demand for the two parks than it does just the one
Yep DAK already has more unique food options and improving this is a good thing. You can get turkey legs in MK
