I have yet to have a turkey leg at any of the parks. I wonder if this is a result of the cuts we're seeing or more just a restructuring of the menus in the park.

It is the salty solution that they brine it in before smoking that makes it similar to cold cuts.

Then how do explain the attraction of the birds to the area around the turkey leg cart in Frontierland ? There are quite a few obligate carnivores as well as omnivores on display.

I'm a Peta (People eating tasty animals) member myself, but Flametree has much better items available than the Turkey legs

Restructuring to have things not feel similar between parks. Plus it costs more to produce Turkey Legs for demand for the two parks than it does just the one ...

EDIT: I should mention its more about the margins. Hence the removal ... and the refresh of food.

Yep DAK already has more unique food options and improving this is a good thing. You can get turkey legs in MK

Also wouldn't surprise me if they if they got rid of Turkey Legs in MK, as the sodium levels are of the scale and goes against Disney's healthy food initiative.

I thought one way of budget cutting would be to stardardize food items between parks, yet it seems AK will be getting whole new food items. It's a good thing, but interesting.
