The NYC classic rock station plays Green Day a lot. Which makes me feel old. Thankfully all the bands mentioned lately made me feel young again. :p
I worked with Billie Joe Armstrong in my first job, in a restaurant. I don't think it was the same one though. She was at least 45 years older, and she was a she, and had a less nasally voice. But they were about the same height.

I'm sure both use the same amount of eyeliner nowadays.

and Blink-182?

Love them too. Saw them at the first Warped Tour we went to - they weren't famous yet and we saw them walking around and just stopped and chatted for a good long while. It was cool.

Sirius/XM has a lot of classic rock channels that specialize in different eras or types of music, e.g. XM 34 is grunge era - Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer, etc.

I like Hair Nation.

Wonder why they dropped the lox?
