Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
And, on the above note, I'm calllin' it a night...
Finally, almost completely pain-free for the next few hours, and I need to take advantage of that, 'cause I need to get my beeeeehind back to the office tomorrow...! ;)
The sweetest of Magical dreams to all of y'all...!!!
Laterrrrrrr...!!!!! :)

Yeah, good call. You should not try and be discreet while on pain meds.

Behave tomorrow. Remember just because the pain meds are blocking the pain, the booboo is still there.

Well, basically...
"Probably gout. Don't think we need to take any x-rays. Wait for the blood work to come back from your doc tomorrow. Oh, and for the pain, I'll write you a prescription."

If nothin' else, it was worth the ER visit just for that last part... :cautious: :D ;) :)
Be careful with the meds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not try and do to much and remember driving on meds can be as bad as driving while drunk. If and when you get to work put your tushie in your seat and leave it there until you go home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be safe and get well.!

Good morning we're all dug out in fact several of my neighbors are equally well dug out! Almost makes me want to take my boys with us next year! I said almost! Still no word one way or another on school and i'm not sure how the back roads are yet. I didn't get it as bad as my mom she got 28 inches and made it to mass yesterday morning. Her and the 6 other old ladies within walking distance! It's good knowing her building gets shoveled out

I like virtually every single food item you mentioned in your post, including game meat. I've eaten, and enjoyed, rattlesnake, squirrel, rabbit, armadillo, venison, etc., etc., etc.
I've never met a potato/potato dish (sans sweet potatoes) I didn't like.
As far as burgers go, I almost always get them loaded. If we're makin' our own, I usually load up the first one and put only mustard and onions on the second. :hungry:
There are only 2 vegetables I can think of that I'm not a big fan of...sweet potatoes and beets.
Although, I will definitely eat them if those are my only choices. Funnily enough ;), I do like sweet potato casserole, and absolutely love pickled beets...I can eat a whole jar of 'em...! :hungry: :)
Ugh....ok, I don't like beets, but that makes like..3 veggies I won't eat?

Funny how those things stick. I was pretty Tom-boyish. I liked sports and had more fun with boy toys and basically hated dolls. I had received a real cool race track and 4 cars for Christmas. The week after Christmas my Mom had her friend over with her 2 twin boys a few years younger than me. They broke part of my track and the wheels on all but one of the cars so they didn't roll anymore. I told my Mom what they had done and she actually yelled at me, what would I like her to do about it? It was broken. She proceeded to pick it up and throw it out. :jawdrop: In retrospect I wonder what the heck that was all about but I never forgot it.
Huh...that IS a puzzle....there must have been something going on there. Although with my mom, she had lots of double standards when it came to him. He was her favorite. He left one of his Go-bots on the floor in the livingroom and I accidentally steppe on it and it broke...she made me replace it. But when he took my bike without permission and rode it over a nail and flattened the tire, I had to pay for the repair myself. And my brother almost always got home before me, and the rule in the house was that whoever got there first got to watch their program, except one time I RUSHED home to be first so I could have the TV and when my brother got home, mom made me turn over the TV to him because he always watched GI joe at that time. So basically, I had to give way to him in whatever he wanted...usually it's the baby of the family who gets their way all the time. In my house it was the other way around. But, you're so right. Those things just tend to stick....you never forget that moment because it was so unfair.

sounds like a lot like my brother to me.. he was jealous I got all the attention, and always tried to hit me back.
Which is ironic because he was the "macho" and the "hero". Always winning sport tournaments and stuff, I was jealous of him.
I don't know why my brother was like that...probably because he was allowed to be. Mom always favored him and praised everything he did. I was really jealous of him. Everything that happened, I got blamed for, and anything good, he got credit for even if I did it. And he always got better grades and if one time I won some award at school for something and he had done it, too, but didn't win, I wasn't allowed to talk about it, because it would make him feel bad. Mom bought all his clothes new from the store, but all of mine were hand-me-downs and if I wanted something new, I had to buy it myself. I had to actually do my chores to get an allowance, but if my brother didn't do his chores, my mom would make ME do it, and then still give HIM the money. There would be no reason for him to have been jealous of ME, because mom always sided with him and gave in to him. So the only reason he'd have to do that stuff to me was just that he knew he wouldn't get in trouble for it....maybe just to see how much he could get away with?

If you think that's bad wait for my trip! I'll be gone almost a month and won't post any pictures until I get home! I don't think I'll even have a way to check in here!
I'm afraid I'm going to be the same way. I'm betting I'll be so exhausted every night that I'll barely make it into the bed before I crash...catching up online is going to be last priority. And we'll be gone about a month, too, though only 2 weeks of that will be Disney.

Interesting

that shirt would get me arrested.. as I would be using my finger to find my way to the castle then to haunted mansion :(

Yeah, I was thinking something else when I looked at the shirt....:jawdrop:

I was thinking how many eyebrows were raised at the location of "entrance". o_O
You see.. that is why I have a halo and you folks don't. The only thing I thought was that it looked Photoshopped to me. It is becoming increasingly clear that I am on the path to heaven. :angelic:
