Your governor was on this am saying how good things are down there!
Was he wearing his, I'm ready for anything, coveralls like he was yesterday? What a clown... it looked like he was ready to jump in a plow and take care of the roads by himself. The ground temperature under the ice and snow is almost 40 degrees so it is actually melting under the cover. When you walk on it it cracks and drops down filling in the space under that has already melted. If they had gotten out last evening when the storm was winding down, it would be just wet pavement now. In all fairness though, when compared to past performances, this one has been much better, at least in our area.

I'm so glad to hear that it's the fluffy kind. Much easier to shovel. Are you going to do your reading and or sewing. Both sounds really relaxing.

Better to have snow than ice! Happy shoveling!
I already got some reading done:inlove: dh is playing with the wire in my sewing area, he forgot to split something:hilarious: I don't shovel I have 2 boys who need money for Disney:inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

My DD likes most things...she used to be really picky. On our last trip to Disney, she was only 4 and having never been to the US, they were both very cautious about food they didn't recognize...I remember DD not wanting to try the spaghetti at Tony's because it wasn't mommy's. They lived on chicken nuggets the entire 3 weeks of our vacation, and the 4 days that we were in Disney, we brought snacks because neither of them would eat chicken nuggets if they weren't from McDonalds. Fortunately, she eats just about anything now, but DS is even worse than he used to be. He's a texture kid...if it feels weird in his mouth, he won't eat it and he's scared to try anything new. But for 4 days in Disney, you can make do, especially as we weren't staying on property....we could cook or go to McD's. This time we're staying on property for 10 days with no way to get somewhere else for dinner and we have the dining plan...he's going to HAVE to get used to it. Wish me luck!! Do you bring snacks into the park with you for the boys in between meals?

I know this question wasn't directed to me, but, we've always carried a backpack into the parks, with snacks, water bottles, ponchos, sunscreen, etc.
It has always comes in handy. :)
