Hope you get some answers, soon. My dad always says dried cherries or cherry juice helps. He also says gout is caused by all the things that make this life more enjoyable--alcohol, meat, and nuts.

OH...MY...GOSH!!!!!
I can't believe I forgot about the black cherry extract...!!!
In my defense, I have slept since my last gout attack. ;)
During the last major one I had, we picked up some tablets at Sprouts at the urging of our oldest DD (she doesn't know about this attack, yet)...the attack had almost completely abated after only 2 days of takin' those.
How in theeeeeee heck could I forget about the cherry...?!?!?!
Thank you sooo very much for the reminder...! :)

And, regarding that last part, your pop is spot-on...! ;) :)

I love everything tomato too, including juice and sun dried, and, of course, Bloody Marys. :hungry:

Back in the early 80's, the drinkin' age was 18 for everything here in Texas. About a month and a half before I turned 19 they raised the drinkin' age to 19...no grandfathering...I was underage, again. :bored:
Thankfully, when they raised it to 21 a few years later, so the state didn't lose federal highway funding, I was already 21. :)

Hahaaa! about wearing the beer...! :hilarious: ;)
I remember liking it from the very first sip my pop gave me as a kiddo. :hungry:
I still liked soda pop better, but, boy howdy, I sure loved those occasional sips.
When we moved to No Cal, I got the occasional sip of wine, too.
When I was about 15, I was allowed to have the occasional beer, or glass of wine, at home.
Obviously, I preferred the beer. ;)

Beer has always been yucky to me, just the smell of it alone. Bluck. I love wine. Even if some compare to vingar. lol. But no, was not amused having beer spat upon me.

Grandson is turning 13 in March, I'm seeing changes in him too. His voice is changing right now. And he likes to spend more time in his bedroom. Still not interested in girls.
That'll change before long. Last year, I had a long conversation with my brother about how pretty does not always equal nice. He has a thing for blondes.

Earlier today, I had him sans parents, and he began acting like a teenager and I had to reprimand him. I'm not sure which was scarier: him acting like a teenager or hearing my mother's voice come out of my mouth.
