I'm so glad your husband got the mattress pad, I love mine. I go to bed every night when I get cold and it keeps me toasty all night. So sorry about your son, I hope his recovery comes soon.
Thanks. He had a terrible night last night, waking up coughing and he coughs so hard it makes him throw up. I didn't send him back to school this morning. I let him sleep in. He's usually up at 6 every morning, but he was still sound asleep when I went in to put clothes away at 7:30 so I decided not to get him up for school...she woke up after 8:30! He must have needed it!

Sympathy like. How are you holding up? I hope you both get the rest you need!

I also keep a handwritten copy in my wallet just in case (dead phone)
I have a folder I'm planning on bringing into the parks with me that will have all our info...itinerary (loose one...I'm not doing commando park visits, just writing down fast pass times, dinner reservations with conf. #, and our must sees for each day), confirmation numbers, and the color-coded list I made of restaurants for quick and easy reference.

Just my point. It is weather. From the beginning of time weather changes. And the Champion of the catastrophic warnings Gore did manage to sell lots and lots of books and special speaking engagements. His credentials were not nearly close to having an expertise in that area of study. But politicians know how to leave public office and make lots and lots of money after.

I think the reason they use the word "Climate" as opposed to "weather" is because weather is what it's like at any given point each day...the weather can change in 5 minutes. Whereas climate is the pattern of weather over a long period of time...so like...winters being mild that year in a climate that is normally harsh. Or the amount of annual snowfall decreasing over time. It has to do with weather PATTERNS rather than the weather on any given day....if that makes sense.

I would love to try Morocco, hubby not so much. I love hummus. He won't eat it.
We have a large population of Turkish and Moroccan immigrants here, so there are a lot of those restaurants here. I looked at the menu as a lot of people recommended that restaurant, but there's nothing DS will eat and nothing really that I can't get here, so we'd rather do something we can't usually get. Come on over here....we can get pretty inexpensive stuff and your hubby can get standard fare if he prefers!

I like TC better than Marrakesh. My dh and I might pop into Spice Road while the boys are off riding something for the 5th time. that's the advantage to traveling with older kids.

I saw that the north pole, has "shifted" way south, almost to somewhere in Canada. Some expect a complete flip in the poles (magnetic). Could this be disrupting our weather. It's happened in history and North America and the rest of the world experienced an Ice Age. I watch the science channel a lot and got the information from their channel. I don't know if this is true or not, just repeating what they reported.
I saw something a few years ago where a geologist was doing tests on layers of sediment, and he said you could tell by certain things how the climate will change and he could see where the ice age happened and it had reversed the poles, etc. Then he said the pattern in the rocks shows that we're due to have another polarity reversal soon....like in the next 10,000 years I think he said. Of course, that shift in polarity doesn't happen quickly...it could take decades, but it's possible that that's what is happening. I have no idea. It was on National Geographic or Discovery.

We'll figure something out. If nothing else, we're pretty flexible after we check out....we won't have any ADRs to get to, or anywhere we HAVE to be at a certain time, so we can work around you guys if we can't work something out sooner.
That's wonderful! I think we'll have a better idea after we get through making ADR and FP's. We'll have a DAS so if we miss a fp it's not too big a deal

I took a quick nap on the couch while he played on the computer. I'm ok for now....I just need to be able to stay awake during work. I may have to ask to walk most of the night this time. Hard to sleep when you're moving. I usually walk most of the time anyway, but Monday we had a bunch of newbies who aren't allowed to pack yet, so those of us who have been there longer had to do the packing. Hopefully it's not as busy tonight!

Stay inside and stay warm!!! They've been predicting snow here for over a week and we have yet to see any....or at least not that's stuck. Maybe it won't be as bad as they are predicting?
THNX that's the plan. If it's only a foot and over early Sunday morning we'll be able to get out by the afternoon. The bad part if it's a foot over the weekend school will be delayed at least 2 hours Monday even if the roads are spotless. The parking lots and sidewalks won't be done on time. My boys will be so mad!
