Have you asked your doc about an iodine supplement? They help some people but don't take it without permission with you being on meds.

I've never heard of this. But, Doctor will be taking more blood when we get home from Disney. It will show if I'm off balance again.

No winner here either. I'm assuming we didn't win anything worthwhile in our work pool either since I haven't heard anything from my co-workers (I could look at the numbers but I left the photocopy of it on my desk at work). But I guess there wasn't a winner for the jackpot. So that jackpot is going to be huge on Wednesday. I just have to figure out how much $$ I want to lose on trying to win.

When we were in Disneyland I bought one of the Boudin Bakery loaves (actually shaped like a Christmas tree). I have it in the freezer but I keep thinking about how good it would be. I have a feeling it won't be in my freezer very long.

Take it from me. It is wonderful, and very hard to stop eating.

In the case of what happened at my school, the kids parents are basically never home. He has access to the whole house and isn't a dumb kid, and a 13-14yr old kid, so he could find what he wanted and since no one is home to watch he has the time to do it. Plus in our area hunting is very common and people have a lot of guns. The gun this kid brought to school wasn't a hunting rifle but a pistol instead and easy to conceal. You'd be surprised how clueless some people are with guns and other items that are a danger to children.

Yes, especially if they are strung out on drugs.

Is alimony a permanent thing in IL? Here "spousal support" (not called alimony anymore) 1 year is awarded for every 4 years of marriage. It's only permanent if the marriage lasted 20+ years.

I lost on my last cruise too. I think it was all the stuff to do and walking around the track. I always gain between the holidays, but never this much!

I haven't had the nerve to step on the scale yet...I will tomorrow and I have a check up at the dr this week so we will see if the scales are similar.
