I saw it, I never ate it. Like I said I'm not big on eating stuff like that out in public, way too messy for the parks. At least Flame's fall off the bone ribs I don't get as messy with. I'm not likely to ever walk the parks either gnawing on a Turkey Leg either.
that reminds me, I have to try these ribs.
I tried some ribs at Harambe Market, they were good!

I have a soft spot for the Turtles like @Cesar R M They brought a great deal of joy to my DS childhood and that basic good guy vs bad guy theme and there was always some softer moral issue introduced in the episodes.

What does surprise me is how many times these little reptiles have had a beauty make-over. Swear they have been rebooted more times that Barbie.
lets see:

  1. Mirage Comics
  2. Archie Comics
  3. 1987 Cartoon
  4. Life Action Movies (x3)
  5. 2003 Cartoon Reboot
  6. Back to the Sewers live action series. (awful)
  7. 2003 extended run ("Fast Forward").
  8. Mirage era 2003 Comics.
  9. 2007 Movie
  10. 2012 TMNT by Nickelodeon
  11. IDW TMNT Comics
  12. IDW Animated & Adventures comics
  13. Michael Bayverse TMNT 2014 and 2016.
  14. TMNT 2015 Half Shell Heroes.

One or two more pictures, the first one was copied after a Thomas Kincaid painting, mom wanted this done for her living room. I told her that I could only do it for her private use, and wanted it back, so I wouldn't get in trouble about plagiarism. Here it is, View attachment 118440

OMG, that is awesome!! (I've also always liked Thomas Kincaide's paintings--he's drawn so many beautiful scenes that I just wanted to jump inside his paintings and live there . . . :inlove: )

I do too. I have it propped up against the wall in the basement. I feel guilty putting it out on display, as it's not my work...but it gave Mom a lot of pleasure. I hope that wasn't wrong. I didn't want to sign it, but Mom insisted. She didn't understand the laws of plagiarism. My heart was in the right place. It will be destroyed when I'm gone. DD has clear instructions on that.

From my point of view, I don't think it matters if you paint an exact copy of his painting, just as long as you don't sell it, while calling it something else. Keeping it for your own use, or sharing with someone in the family is fine. No need to destroy it. That would be awful. Let others get some enjoyment out of it as well.

I'm unwilling to join in the protests against Starbucks over a cup. Still I have to admit this is the most boring cup I've seen them launch for the holiday season. Years past they were whimsical and fun. Reminds me of Disney's decision years back to go generic with the universal Disney Parks stuff.

So, on the early morning news today, I heard about the big brooha over these cups, of all things. Heck, they're still red and green, and those are Christmas colors to me. I don't understand the big stink about no Christmas trees or whatever on them. Starbucks is a modern, edgy company, and I don't expect them to have Currier and Ives drawings of sleigh rides and Christmas wreaths on cottage doors, on their cups. The colors are fine with me for the Christmas season.
