Ha! Oh I've been known on occasion to let a little heat come through the heating system to the bedroom. I have a thermometer in there, and in the winter, it's pleasant--about 52 degrees. I don't keep the window wide open, just a bit to get a nice cool winter breeze. Ahhh . . . (Meanwhile, hubby is all bundled up in the winter, and even wears hoodies to bed with the hood up! He claims it's freezing, but has learned to add layers and keep warm. ) In summer, he like the a/c cranked up, just like I do. So I could never figure out why he didn't like the cold in winter, but needs it cold to sleep in the summer?

My mom had two recipes for pumpkin pie: her mother's and Libby's pumpkin pie. Her mom's recipe didn't have all the spices in it that Libby's does so it seemed a little flavorless to me. But the Libby's recipe....YUMMMMMMM! I think my mom was a little disappointed that I didn't like her mother's recipe and I always asked for the Libby's. (Side note: I could really go for some pumpkin pie right now.)

I LOVE pumpkin pie!! Sometimes, they have it in the cafeteria at work and I always buy it. It will be my vegetable for the day ( @figmentfan423 said I could count pumpkin pie as a vegetable!)

To answer your question, I made myself a nice dinner, had a big beer, and watched Scream and Scream 2. Good times.

Yeah, I'm getting the shakes too. I wanna go back but the Phil monster is not having anything to do with it. I can't believe when I get my bonus (If?) I'm going to have to spend it on something like the Bahamas or Bermuda or something like that with real sand and a real ocean, etc. I want fake, dammit! And I'm not even kidding which just goes to show how insane I am. Phil is like, "why do you want to stay in Port Orleans or Old Key West when we can go to the real things?" Well, he's not wrong, but still...........arrrrgggghhhhh.

Yup, I had it hooked up to an older tv since it's tempermental with a flat screen. I packed it all away though (including tv) because we weren't playing it. My daughter has zero interest in video games and would rather play with her Legos.

I always have the bedroom window open--even on the coldest nights of winter. I love fresh air, and it is so nice for sleeping, so I'll keep it open maybe a 1/2 inch in the middle of winter.

I can't do that, I am a freeze baby. Plus I don't want my heat running.

Yes, she was amazing. She did everything on her own and lived on her own until she passed at age 95.
