Good afternoon. Hope you all are having a lovely day. As for me, I will be spending today under a pile of homework. And hopefully tomorrow, there won't be quite as much homework. One of my assignments, which is to write a fairy tale, is actually fun, but the management and studying for a finance test? Not so much.

I had the following conversation with my dad this morning:
Me: I've got a lot of homework.
Dad: I'd have it done in five minutes.
Me: Ya know, I could use some help. Which would you prefer, the Spanish reading or the fairy tale?
Dad: Fairy tale.

I don't wanna know what his fairy tale would be about...

1am Sunday. seeing I'm going to be sleeping, my clocks get changed before I go to bed. That should mess with the boys as they're planning on staying up and watching a movie with my dh. Something with a big yuck factor so I'm changing the clocks and going to bed at my regular time:D
We do our clocks before bed too. Makes it easier, we have forgotten in the past, and was off sink all day!

Oh good grief, that would be complicated! Can you imagine if you lived in one county, but went to work every day in a different county with a different time?? You'd probably have to get 2 clocks next to the bed: one for the morning alarm to get you up on time to get ready for your job, and the other clock for the actual time in "your" county where you live!! :jawdrop:
Yes it was near the border counties. Still didn't make sense to me, and I wasn't directly affected. They always announced on time change, the counties that didn't change their clocks.

Sympathy like. I'm enjoying peace and quiet for about the next hour and then the begging for candy begins. I hope you have some fun tonight, you're only young once!

I think they get a bad rap. It's the oil, cream. salt, cheese, bacon, butter, etc people put on them that make them so unhealthy. If you eat them with their skins hey have enough fiber toe up for the starchy carbs:joyfull: As with food do not eat by truckload LOL
I agree, I got a bag of really nice small Yukon gold, just the right size, for portion control. I like a little salt and pepper. I think the flavor of potato's are good enough almost by them selves.

I really like yukons too. Still a dollop of sour cream or butter lands on mine when baked. I also have started to put them in stews and some soups, adds a nice flavor to both.
