in other news.. I'm all geared up with candy..
also, got my computer chair all fixed up, it was on repairs for a month. It was falling apart.

btw.. I hate those "leather" chairs you get everywhere.. because they're not real leather.. but a type of paint based latex that looks like leather. But after a year, it just turns into dust.

I need a dog so badly, they always kept me warm. My best camping buddy, Freddy, always slept in my sleeping bag with me! And at my feet at home, I miss him , as all my doggies a lot! Wiggles, did the same. When you want a warm loving buddy, get a dog or puppy. I've wanted a kitty, but hubby, as I have said before, had them as a child....and is allergic to them. I've always had a doggie, and haven't tested allergies for a while. Maybe, being pet less, and donating is the best way to go. We love donating for homeless and no kill shelters. I do have an inanimate doggie, I named lucky. I felt so lucky getting him. I tell him good morning every day. Okay, I'm officially a crazy old woman!:rolleyes: just kidding, but keep the doggie and kitty pics and video's coming, they make my day!

I don't know if this would ever appeal to you, but since you love dogs and cats so much, there may be shelters in your area that might need some volunteer assistance. I knew a woman who used to go to the shelter twice a week and walk the dogs, on a leash, around their fenced-in area behind the shelter. She felt like she was visiting friends, and it filled a void for her at that time. She told me about a gentleman who was devastated by the loss of his dog; and he would go to the shelter each week and bring treats for all the dogs in there. Just being around dogs helped him through his grief, and he was helping the animals and the shelter staff by visiting, too.

View attachment 116979 Took the train(s) to Naples and the ruins at Pompeii. Tomorrow is a free day to wander around before heading for the trans Atlantic cruise. View attachment 116980 View attachment 116981

My goodness, Naples and then the ruins at Pompeii. Wow. I think the closest I got to any Italian culture today was the chicken parmesan sandwich in the cafeteria at work! (slab o' chicken, slab o' American cheese, and some genuine, Italian Ragu sauce, on a white bread bun!) :D

You are on quite the trip, I must say. This is far more than I imagined you had on your itinerary. I love the pictures.
