Happy Back To the Future Day. My ds was going to dress up but it's picture day and I'm a horrible parent. I'm getting a very cheap package and I'm not getting the CD. We got some good pics of him the first day of school and we have a few from the first dance. I just couldn't justify the expense. I heading out walking with some friends later as the leaves are turning. Sunday we had white carp and gren leaves today it will be in the 70s and the leaves are turning Weird weather

My Pup decided to climb up the center of the bed and then push his way in his sleep into my domain. Greedy. I'd be more annoyed but he is sound asleep as he is being a bed hog.

No force awakens for me until January
We have a "multiscreen cinema" and a theatre/cinema locally.The multiscreen is small and cramped the big screen can't show it until next year due to theatre commitments . So i only have to stay away from all forms of media from the 17th Dec for a month

I still think of the West Wing whenever I see the major actors/actresses somewhere. Rob Lowe, Bradley Whitford, Alison Jannay

and of course Martin Sheen who ironically is in Dave too.

That doesn't make you a horrible parent! I didn't even buy the cheap package 2 years ago because the pictures looked AWFUL. I bought the class pictures so the kids had that as a memory, and my MIL wanted one of each of the kids to complete the series, but I opted not to buy any for us. DS had a weird look on his face and looked drugged and DD didn't look like herself at all. Worst pictures ever.

So let me tell you how my morning went. I woke up and wasn't feeling well. I started walking to my bathroom, got lightheaded and fell catching my the bottom side of my chin on a table corner. I snapped awake with hands covered in blood and my daughter calling my mom. Long gross story short, I didn't need stitches but my chin was covered in scab powder, butterflied and bandaged. I'm supposed to talk as little as possible, no kissing and no solid food and use a straw for three days. I'm really craving a burger and my tomato soup with soggy crackers isn't cutting it.

This is really scary. Hope you are recovering ok. Good thing your daughter was there to get help.

Oldest grandson, stayed home for the last dance. His friends weren't going so he didn't want to go.

My 6 year old went to his first dance at his karate dojo last month. It's a little fundraiser for him. He took his sister's along. Many parents hung around too and danced more than the kids. Everyone had a ball.

That's funny cuz I just discovered I like Brussels Sprouts! I like them sautéed and roasted.

You should try kale chips - those are super yummy! And extremely easy to make.

Yum! I love sprouts roasted with a little lemon juice and oil.

Awe thanks. I see her everyday sometimes just briefly but like when she was in college thank goodness for unlimited texting. Neither of us are telephone people.

Glad I'm not the only non telephone person. Man, I hate that thing. I think I have a phone phobia...which is fun to say 10 times fast.
