The European weather model says differently

Oh I agree with some of that, definitely. I knew they'd throw in some various footage here and there, but I really did think that the stage portion of the show with the audience in front, was "live". Anyway, glad you could see it and hopefully, you can watch the rest of the week. I'll miss the rest, because I'm back to work today. :( (No, I don't have a DVR.)

I watched again today. It makes me so happy. They visited some of the F&W booths. The sushi looked so good and I want a carmel apple from the Werther's shop.

FIGMENT!!!!!!! I LOVE Figment! Imagination was one of my favorite rides ever before they changed it.
Poor baby....sounds like he needed to get out of the sun! I actually have no problem with public breast feeding...it's completely natural and the kid's gotta eat. Was there a father there who could have stood in the line to hold her place while she fed the baby somewhere else? I found when I was nursing my babies that there weren't good accommodations for nursing mothers. I used a changing stall in a clothing store, a bathroom stall another time, but it was uncomfortable, awkward, and probably not sanitary. Sometimes there just isn't a good option.

I breastfed my baby any time, anywhere. He was colicky so unless people wanted to hear the screaming, they had to put up with it. And I wasn't going to sit off in a corner by myself all day so I learned to nurse and walk. I did have a smock because I was self-conscious but kudos to those who aren't.

I have to wonder if the people objecting to getting dressed in front of a transgender person have ever given thought that they have almost certainly gotten dressed in front of someone who is attracted to the same sex...it's just not something you think about because they all look the same as everyone else and you can't tell who they are attracted to by outer appearance. So really, it's no different dressing in front of a transgender person. And that transgender person is probably just as self conscious of dressing in front of you. I HATED getting dressed in the locker rooms back in high school...I always felt like everyone was judging me. I used to go change in a bathroom stall instead. High school locker rooms are just a form of torture in general. They are breeding grounds for insecurity and judgment.

I think that is a mature thought. I'm not sure our middle school students 10-13 will all be on that page and likely some high school students. Since we have students in that age group that state they are gay I'm certain transgender is an equal possibility. I have extreme empathy for both sides of the aisle and knowing our district we'll do exactly what the law tells us we are required to do. We have attorney's for that. Unfortunately for this board in this school district they are punting, there are no guidelines to comply to yet. That is difficult. My thoughts and my DD thoughts today went to the female conservative Saudi girls with a host of cultural restriction about being around men without an escort. Sure many of us can understand transgender and 'living' as a female but for some cultures I anticipate a segment of those families balking at the shared locker rooms on religious and cultural grounds. It will all work itself out but likely it isn't going to be a pleasant experience for this particular school board as they unwillingly became the test case. They have my sincere sympathy.

Ever been to Wyoming? There are a lot of old Ghost towns there. Pretty neat. I want to go to the UK and Greece and Italy to see old castle type ruins...I love history

I have not been to Wyoming but I have been to some ghost towns. I find them very exciting.

The UK is a very cool. The castles are great.

Not quite the same thing, but they have some really cool haunted places. York is the most haunted place and Edinburgh has amazing tours that take you down underneath the city.
