I just got done binge watching Season 1 and 2 of Ricky and Morty. Now I'm beginning my second binge watching of Gravity Falls from start to finish with the current episode. Finally I will binge watch Steven Universe. Boy this is going to be a long week! Wish me luck alright?

Some friends say that both steven universe and gravity falls are way deeper than anyone imagines.. specially Stevens.. loots of "feels" as they say.

Good morning and happy Monday. We finally decided on a floor after going to a few more stores than originally planned. I'm quite happy with our decision as not only is the one we decided on lovely but on sale and in stock isn't bad either. lots of cooking today as I seem to have gotten up today and found nothing ready to feed the boys. I can't believe all the chili and cornbread is gone as I made the chili in a 12 quart pot guess it's salad for me today. At least with the oven going all day the house will be warm.

I watch things like Empire and Grey's Anatomy. Watched Aquarius this summer with David Duchovony and loved it. Can't wait for next summer for it to start again. (Fingers crossed.) As far as new shows, I have been enjoying Quantico and Limitless.

Well, you're mentioning normal shows. I was thinking we were only talking about "animated" shows.

meh for example.. I'm enjoying DARK MATTER (new scifi series which just finished its first season). good change since the terribly disappointing of FALLING SKIES. Cant believe how much they ruined that show.
The Last Ship, Grimm and Being Human are good for those who like the not usual comedy or action dramas.

Yeah, I've never been into the X-Files but Duchovny is a brilliant actor and picks such interesting projects. Aquarius is set around Charles Manson. Duchovny is a detective. It is a great piece of television. Like Duchovny's stuff, it has an edgy, arty sort of feel.

Empire is also fantastic. Totally sexy and just filled with energy. A whole different world for me.

interestingly.. they are getting x files backup with the original cast.

you need to be in many online fandoms to read about them.
I dont think most forums like this one talk about these shows.

The only thing im glad is.. the whole "my little pony" fad is finally dying.
Hated to see these darn bronies inserting their "ponysona" everywhere and ruin it with their sexual advances.. creepy as hell.

The Sunday evening before his originally scheduled stint procedure, we were all out on the front deck visiting.
When we were pulling out of the driveway, there he was, just like so many times before, sitting in his favorite swinging bench with his foot up on it (knee high, up near his face), waving goodbye.
When I drove up yesterday, there he was in the same position, waving hello. I breathed a sigh.
So very reassuring.

That's a beautiful scene. Money can't buy happiness like that. (Sometimes, it's the simple things in life that we all tend to overlook and don't miss . . . until they're gone.)

Somehow there was no question in my mind, that your pop was going to spring back like Tigger!!

Our Henry, who passed in Jan, used to take garments out of the laundry basket too! Glad to know it isn't just our dog! Kapono only likes used socks, no other garments. Jack sounds like he would get along well with my pup.

Glad they don't live near each other--they'd trash the place!

Do Dogs in Illinois go to the bathroom outside once it snows? I felt so bad for her. She was obviously sent over and so uncomfortable asking the question. I explained always and that most Pups actually like the snow. I told her even as big as Walt is once the snow is deeper than his hocks I shovel an area of the grass for him and shovel a path. And went on to say I've had many Pups and if she had any other questions to please ask. She so politely thanked me and skedaddled back across the road. Poor thing.

Ha! I burst out laughing over this one!!! Oh I wish I was there to "help" you out!! My response would have been, "No, they take a cab to Kentucky, and do their business there."

Actually whether it's politically correct or not (I don't care either way), I kinda like the sound of Indigenous Peoples Day. It's sort of interesting.

Ummm...no lol Texas is something else. Atlantic Canada is not quite half the size of Texas in land area.

However, when I drive up to Northern Canada in the Spring, it will take me 9 nights from where I am, and a few days longer if I was further East.

My DWifey grew up reading those books and watching the TV show. She still loves it all so much.

Me too. The story is so captivating to me and relatable as a little girl from a different time period.

In my town we didn't have sidewalks when my kids were growing up. For us they came during 9/11 with major road rebuilding that year. My DD was in 4th grade my DS already in high school. My kids learned to navigate the roads while walking and riding bikes in the street. I so hated that. I grew up with sidewalks and some people are nuts driving their cars around kids.

I have empathy for you and the ambulance driver. I had my son in his buggy in the mega mall. Maybe 3 months old. I was in the hallway portion and he was screaming his fool head off, colic and all but I needed to buy Christmas Presents so the mall it was him screaming me exhausted. An elderly women sitting on a brick wall next to her husband stood up and stuck her face into the buggy and screamed two inches from my DS face SHUT UP and yelled at me for not keeping him quiet. Yep. Nuts. I ignored her and looked at her mortified husband and told him to get a grip on his wife or I was calling for security. Poor guy. He attempted as I pushed the buggy onward as she then fought with him. I'll never forget the loon in my infant sons face screaming.

That is awful. Some people are unbelievable. I remember taking my son out to the farmer's market when he was an infant. He was colicky and spent 99% of the first four months under my nursing smock. It was also a beautiful but coolish day in May. I decided to leave his hat in the car as it seemed too warm for it and not sunny enough to need protection and he would likely be out from nursing for a couple of minutes at a time. I actually sat and thought this all through and opted for the one less thing to carry. And then we are walking around and some old woman comes up to me and scolds me for not putting a hat on his head and how he is going to get a sun burn and made me feel like the world's worst parent. I wish I would have stood up to her like you did but I was feeling insecure so I just left.

@French Quarter I forget where your post is but I am from Rhode Island...not an island and not part of Long Island. Though I do work on the island which RI got the name from.
