I'm currently at a Holiday Inn in Oxford, Mississippi (Hotty Toddy!). Why do hotels always have such crappy internet? And why why are the walls paper thin? Still nice to be in Oxford though. It's one of the nicest towns in Mississippi. I realize that's not saying much, but it's certainly nicer than where I live.

The internet is always too slow for Netflix and the cable TV feed makes everything look like it was filmed on a flip phone camera.

@Lucky, some of those pictures from a couple days ago look exactly like ones I took.

Which ones? I'm surprised because I'm not much of a photographer and just use an iPhone camera.

Okay, a few things here:

a). You nor your husband had the courtesy to call me first, so how did you expect me to have the karaoke machine set up by the time you arrived??
b). I didn't know it was a John Denver theme night...and have already said I AM SORRY!
c). The lyrics for that Hansen song went: "Mmmm Bop", not "Hmmm Bop", which I clearly told you in last week's emailings.

So quit trying to subtly blame ME for losing the singing contest when it was YOU guys who failed to communicate!

Trust me - if I could Leave on a Jetplane I would.

They were very good. Hubby gave his to me, which I kindly gave to Gen when she woke up. Should have scarfed them quite frankly, but that's not my style. Unless there are no witnesses. Which there were, so tough luck for me.

The kids are in the same building, but around the corner. So, yay again!





We are on the second level of Building 4, which is lovely and close to Centro, although the nearby quiet pool is closed for the duration of our stay. No biggie.
