Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Fire freaks me out - always has, but I do like a good campfire.
Ditto.

(My mom, Bro #1, and I nearly died in a house fire in 1971. Fire Marshall said we were less than 3 minutes away from death. Guess God wasn't ready for us yet.)

Oh my gosh that's scary!

Fire freaks me out as well. My neighbor's house burned to the ground in 1980. It was hit by lightning and the smoke detectors were hard wired to their alarm system and when the lightning fried the wires the smoke detectors ceased to work. Or something like that - I was 7 so that's the story I remember. When the dad heard windows shatter he went down the stairs with a bat, figuring someone was breaking in. He was greeted by the smoke on the way down the stairs so he went back up, had the family climb out a window onto a metal awning and down to the ground. Seconds after they vacated the awning, it melted.

Good morning!
@JenniferS - have a great trip - looking forward to lots of pics!

We went out to one of our favorite restaurants last night for our anniversary. I didn't bring a camera, but wish I had. Dave had scallops with a baked sweet potato and beets., and I had grilled chicken over spinach with rice, plus we both had huge salads and we split a dessert - blueberry bread pudding. His scallops were huge and there were close to 2 dozen of them, and my chicken entree was big enough to serve a family of four I swear. He finished his whole meal, but I ate maybe a third of mine, and neither one of us could touch the dessert (I did have half of it for breakfast this morning though).
Total bill for all this (before tip)? $38.00 :hilarious: Awesome!!!!

2007 was the last year that we took the kids to Universal, and apparently the last time we used a certain suitcase.

Look at all the cool stuff I found in the front pocket:

Sorry, didn't think to take a photo before I bundled it all up. I have dozens of park maps (Uni & IOE included), but no Epcot.

Son #2 just got back from getting a much needed haircut. I gave him first dibs on luggage, and he picked exactly the one I knew he would - old lady tapestry.

I've done nothing but laundry for the past two days, and I mentioned that he will need at least a dozen shirts unless he plans on doing laundry.

You should have seen his face - shock times two.

1 - What? You're not packing my bag?
Ummmmm no - you're 19 years old! You've held a full time job for the past 14 months. You're not a child.

2 - What? You're not doing my laundry there?
Ummmmm no - get your girlfriend to do it. Or better yet, do it yourself. Or, pack enough clothes. Whichever. :joyfull:

The girlfriend definitely should not do it. We don't want to pass that torch to her.
