not in the minimum.. he's cold.. evil.. he makes you feel.
Bendidong's Khan is just "look how cool and egocentric I look"

also I have no idea why .. but I do the mispellings automatically now..
I suppose I played the joke game online too much. :hilarious:

Well, Khan is supposed to be a genetically-engineered tyrant, so a little egocentricity would be expected for that role, wouldn't it?

But, I'm completely biased - I also just like the way Benedict looks! :inlove:

I need some help here. I'm thinking about ordering magic bands for my boys that way when they go off together they can use the DAS and I won't have to worry about them losing the tickets (no MB for us as we'll be off sight) What do you think? Last trip we let them do a ride or 2 without us and we were thinking about giving them a little more freedom. If they could use the DAS without us they wouldn't have to look for short lines.

I say yes to MBs! But then, you know how much I love them. :inlove:

Howdy Figgy! :)
Yes, it's been a good day, so far.
Hope yours is goin' well, too.

On lunch break right now.
Gotta' get most of a 3-D computer model done before I leave the office around 6p.
Then, it's off to do a clothing store closer.
Then, finally, off to the coast tomorrow morning...!!! :)

Have a fabulous time and drive safe! Remember to take lots of pics! We need to keep this virtual vacation trend going for those of us at home. :D

in other news.. I had a lot of trouble sleeping (wee nature.. 6th day in a row we had heavy thunderstorm and rains between 2 and 4 am.. then nothing.. )
then I got in one hell of a row of dreams.. including one nightmare where a weird creature was inserting a giant *** needle in my neck.
That was not the worst part.. right when he inserted the needle, my vibrating alarm clock (for deaf) was triggered at max power. Giving me one hell of a scare/jolt!!! (9:00 am .. go figure)

I hate waking up like that! It's so disconcerting. And it takes awhile for your heart rate to go back down, plus just a general feeling of uneasiness. Bleah. :depressed:

Sometime it can be difficult to live with somebody who has autism when they melt down. My ds runs and hides for the most part when he's melting down. I'm lucky it doesn't happen often.

Also, kids in general can be prone to tantrums - it's really a brain development thing. One of my friends recommended the book "Parenting From the Inside Out, and The Whole Brain Child", and it's very interesting regarding how the brain works.

I'm sorry I don't know the DAS system but I do like my kids to have their own magicband. My kids are older but even years back I liked them to carry their own tickets. We just took a picture of the tickets and wrote down the I'd number on the ticket or magicband in case we lost either.

Good afternoon seahawk7. We are currently under a sever thunderstorm warning. Looks to be about 15 minutes away. I'm hearing the thunder. Several funnel clouds spotted around our area. To my knowledge, none has touched down, or caused any damage. It's looking less and less like Colorado, this afternoon. We bought a weather alert radio, as we have no sirens in our town. We've never needed them except for major snow storms. It's getting crazy outside now. Guess it's time to go.

I hope it doesn't get too bad, or at least bypasses your town a bit. Stay safe!!

15 minutes from me. How did I not know this?!?!?!

I don't know, it has been there for a few years now, Higgins and Martingale Northwest corner. My Mom and I often will meet up at
Woodfield, one of our favorites.

Doesn't bother me a bit. I don't think anyone really cares, we love hearing from each other, no matter how many posts! :joyfull:

From what I've seen it pertains more to the specific forums where a member in theory could dominate a discussion on a given topic. Here the thread is social and topics come, go often with us on this and similar threads juggle many topics at once. We all tend to play catch-up at one time or other in a day. Me as of late is late night. (right now it is just me and Walt here so it is unusually quiet) so I am trying to at least plow through the alerts.
