Beyond annoying is an understatement.......

Up in the Forum Help and Annoucements section (if you look above the News and Rumors thread on the main Forums page), there is a thread there called Kicked to the ITunes Store.

About halfway down that page, the subject went a bit off topic, and people were commenting about the newer video distracting ads that show up usually in the 2nd or 3rd post on any forum page now. Don't think there's any way to get rid of this newer (annoying) feature, but you may want to read through that page to see how others responded.

I don't mind ads at all as they help to support this great web site; but I do hate this new video thing as it's very distracting. I do my best to just turn a blind eye to it.

It's official my dh who's not a fan of my Figment bum bag thinks it would be a good idea to bring him. All I had to do was show him the Olaf purse on the Disney store site and explain how easy it would be to convert to a bum bag. Problem solved

I am in total shock. You actually have NOT seen Mary Poppins???!!! Oh dear woman--you are missing out on one of the best movies ever made. I hope you get to see it soon. I really think you would love it.

I could deal with an ad like that; but the moronic ones that keep showing up, having nothing at all to do with Disney or anything I like, is just really getting on my nerves the past few days.

We don't start until the day after Labour Day.

And both of mine are going back! Son #2 just handed in his two weeks' notice. As much as he enjoys welding, his compromised lungs (from birth) just can't hack it. No pun intended.
And despite his quitting smoking more than 6 months ago, every morning I hear him coughing like crazy and have unpleasant flashbacks to my parents' final months.

So, back to school he goes. (Just not in 9 days!)
