Please don't leave. No one meant any offense, just blowing off the Friday steam. I don't drink much at all, my margarita's (when I have them, consist of 1/2 oz. of tequila, 2 ounces of ginger ale, and 2 ounces of Sierra Mist and a lot of ice. To melt. I can sip this for over several hours, adding more ginger ale, and sierra mist.

Although while we're on the topic of drinking, I have to admit I just had 2 beers at lunch, in order to relieve some of this divorce stress. So apologies in advance if I say anything even slightly offensive or inappropriate! But know right now I love you all...:inlove:

I don't want to judge anyone's way to deal with stress. No worries, I have my margarita, when my ruptured disks, and migraines act up. Yes, for me a little alcohol, stops a migraine before it get's hold of me. I get an aura before a really bad one is coming...I have a sip, lay down for 15 minutes, and away it goes. Sometimes a migraine, will cause me to briefly lose my eyesight, in the top half of both eyes. I've had several MRI'S. And other then a begnign brain tumor in the base of my skull. It's not growing so no problem. I love all the people on Chit Chat...we all came here to find our internet friends. And friends should be able to converse about differing opinions. :joyfull:

I think the "click-bzzzz" sound of the camera would have got my attention. :joyfull:
When Polaroid first came out, my Father bought the whole setup. He even had a set up where he could make duplicate photos. It was a small frame like contraption where you would put the developed photo in and take a picture of the photo. Pretty primitive, but, it did work.

I can't tell you how many times I heard my mother yell out from the bathroom... "Russell, you destroy that picture right now or I will kill you. (actually, it was a little more of a personal threat, but, I cannot actually repeat the words here) :joyfull:
He finally got tired of dragging all the equipment around and it evolved into something that took up room in the hall closet.

@MOXOMUMD. Maybe we can have a fun Friday, with stories, jokes, (although, I can't remember any), but love to read them.

Thank you for not judging! But I do realize how it sounds, so your perception is not totally off-base. I know I'm in a "safe" place here and even though we all have our own opinions we're tolerant enough to either accept them or try to understand them. :cat:

I never thought about alcohol to stop a migraine, though! I also get the auras, but the pain has been less so since I had my daughter. It's actually tolerable now, rather than completely debilitating. I don't lose my eyesight, but it's like there's a crack in my cornea that moves from one side to the other. Very annoying to say the least.

I'm glad the tumor is benign and not growing! I've never seen a doctor for my migraines - I always thought not much could be done about them.

I was given a medicine from my neurologist, the side effect, was " the first dose can kill you", needless to say, it went in the trash!:p

THNX we're on the fence about Y&Y. MY one ds and my dh love a good burger. The guys were a bit worried because quite a bit of our non-buffet list is Asian, African, middle eastern that it would be spice over load LOL. Me I love food that's considered different.

I get the overload of 'different' foods. I like to try foods from different lands and then I also need good food I am more accustomed to. Midway or towards the end of a trip I tend to land at Prime Time generally with a last minute ADR. I also try to avoid the QS staples of Chicken nuggest (now when they had chicken strips that was different) and cheap burgers. I love pizza but not the expensive frozen pizzas at many QS venues there. I do like both the QS and TS versions of pizza at Via Napole but even their TS slipped. Guess that is why I head QS to places like Seasons or Columbia House or Flame. DHS food doesn't impress me but the sandwiches at Rolls is an option for me. Don't get why they can't fix that and a little more A/C choices for the Studios would be nice too.

@seahawk7 , I hope whatever new schedule, etc., is working out well for you, in your job. You had mentioned recently that there were some various changes in your job, and I was just wondering if you liked the updates. :)
I don't really like some of the changes but I don't have a choice so I fool myself into liking them. And thanks for asking @MinnieM123
